This pu-erh tea is good tasting and is easy to make. I use 4 tea bags in a liter teapot. 2 minutes 45 seconds for the 1st brewing and 5 minutes for the second brewing. A 3rd brewing was too weak for my taste so I've stopped at 2 brewings.

This was purchased as a birthday gift for a family member who had had something similar at a tea house. Even tho it was not the exact tea (which was quite expensive), she has really enjoyed it! Thank you for saving me money AND providing her with a great gift!

This is a great Pu-erh, and made getting a nice mug of Pu-erh much easier than the usual strainer. However, typical of Amazon, going back in to buy again increased the price $2.00 — almost a 33% higher after 6 weeks. Pathetic.

Prince of Peace says they price their products lower than most, by depending on Customer's "Word-of-Mouth" MARKETING, for a Superior Tea at Value Pricing, and I agree. I just can't get enough of this Prince of Peace Pu-erh Tea, as my "Go-To" Daily Tea, 24/7. Seldom are "BAG" Tea any good, because most have just Very Low Quality Tea inside, knowing you cannot see it to tell, BUT, not Prince-of-Peace Tea. It's Very RARE Good Quality Tea inside their Tea Bags, and takes just ONE TRY to know that. Of course, it's not a Ultra-High End, $100K/pound 50 year old Pu-erh Tea, but for me, I'm very happy with what it is, like a Good Friend, keeping me feeling Relaxed and Pleased with what I do have. Still a 5-STAR Rating, and Highly Recommended for you to try too. :o)

When I originally combed through the reviews someone commented about it tasting like farm. I thought it was a funny description and bought this Pu-Erh Tea anyway. It was my first time ever drinking this sort of tea and I got to admit there's some truth to that review. Along with its strong taste, it is quite bitter so I like to mix it with a bit of coffee cream and honey.Over time it has become my go to after work tea. I love its unique ''farm'' taste and will be reordering once I get through this huge box.

Gallons of Love distributed Christmas care packages to the 9,500 prisoners in four local prisons, and each bag included an individually wrapped tea bag. These were economical and still of very nice quality, with several flavors offered.

I didn’t know about this tea, but I heard an interview on a podcast and they mentioned this tea. It lowers cholesterol and I decided to give it a try. I have not had another blood work, but I’m hopeful that it will help me too. And it is delicious too!

The tea in itself is great. Though it's slightly Earthy Taste may not be liked by all.On the other side, I happened to see this in US stores and the same thing costs $4 in there, but costs 8 times more in India. I am not sure if the duty and import charges are so high.

Take everything you, taste wise, about black tea, green tea, oolong, earl grey, english breakfast or whatever tea you've tried and throw them out the window because it doesn't apply here! Like what many others have already stated, Pu-Erh tea may not be your cup of tea. No pun intended. In fact, I assume that most who try this tea will by default not like it at first. Its true that this is yet another one of those "aquired" tastes. Pu-Erh tea is fermented tea leaves and trust me, you'll know it was fermented! It has a very distinct subtle yet bold taste to it that really I can't compare to anything I've tried from recent memory. The smell is what will let you know right away that something might be "wrong" with these tea leaves. Did you get a bad batch? Expired? Wrong shipment? Maybe even some prank being played on you? Well, no, it's not! Trust us reviewers! It's obviously hard to describe the taste of this tea but what I can say is that if you're looking for a strong/bold cup of tea, this might not do for you. I think oolong tea would be a better bet for that. Although it does have somewhat of a smoky'ish flavor due to the fermentation I'm assuming, its not what you would call overwhelming. I've tried drinking this tea cold but it's not that good in my opinion. I feel this tea was meant to be consumed hot.Funny story. This tea reminded me of my times spent in Hong Kong with my grandma as a child. She would drink no other tea besides Pu-Erh when we would go eat dim sum. If the restaurant didn't offer it (which was rare but does happen), she would get really upset! I've also noticed that many other elderly people in Hong Kong prefer this tea to others. At first I had no idea what the heck "Pu-Erh" tea was! I can speak Cantonese but Pu-Erh is Mandarin, which is alien to me. So when I was raving to my parents about this tea and the many benefits it provides, I showed them the box and when they read it, they couldn't stop laughing. In Cantonese, we call this tea "bowl lei" and not Pu-Erh. Upon my first sip, I was instantly reminded of the good ol' days I spent with my grandma eating dim sum in Hong Kong.At such a low price for 100 bags, I highly suggest you try this tea. Yes, there's a good chance you won't like it but if you're an avid tea drinker, I'm pretty sure you'll be accomodating!
