This door lock is of good quality. It feels nice and the build quality looks and feels like commercial quality. The in use and vacant signage works well and the color stands out well. The mechanism moves well and smoothly. There is next to no play after installation. The size feels a little bulky but great quality.

Works great and looks fantastic, makes it easy to communicate from a long distance. Just a nice, simple, way to stop awkward knocking or door shaking. Anyone can figure this thing out! Even if the language is an issue the color is an easy well to get the message. I like it a lot and it it looks great.

Looks great and is pretty cool to have if you have a small business. It can even be used for home use which is so helpful for when you have a very full house and lots of sharing of the bathroom. It was not too difficult to install and it works well. It’s pretty sturdy and I think is worth it for small businesses or those working out of the home and have clients that come in.

I used this door lock to avoid painful inconveniences that have happened in our cabin. There is only one bathroom there, and the door lock that we had previously used did not block the door. Therefore, in addition, in this bathroom, we keep a window halfway open to have ventilation since there is no extractor fan, therefore the door must remain closed in the winter or the cabin in the mountains will cool down quickly, therefore, we have already had several incidents in which a person approaches the bathroom , and has no way of knowing if there is another occupant inside and unsuspectingly opens the door causing uncomfortable moments, initially the solution I thought was to put a new common door lock, but if the person inside the bathroom forgets to lock it, a new incident could occur, therefore I looked for this solution, I must tell you that this door lock is much more robust and heavier than a regular door lock, it is seen that it is made to last, unlike normal door locks, this one has an anchor inside that will be nail into the wood of the door and they will prevent them from turning; When I bought it, its price seemed a little high to me, but when I received it, I understood that because it is twice as expensive as a normal door lock, the installation must be followed step by step since it is a little more complicated than a normal door lock. In my case, I replaced all the parts that were previously installed; therefore, I had to use more tools than I thought. However, I am very satisfied with the result. The notice on the door lock is quite visible in the distance, in such a way that you don't have to go near the bathroom door to know if it is occupied or free. It was a great addition to our cabin, and we are very happy with the result. It is a good product that will last a long time; it has a very good appearance, and although it looks a little big for the door, it is not something that is uncomfortable.I recommend this product.

Nice privacy locking hardware, great for public spaces. We have a small office in an old house, folks often close the bath door and then people are apprehensive to attempt to enter....solved!! Works with most door thicknesses and the handing is reversible.

I lost my pictures of the unboxing.I installed it and it's smooth and it works fine. It's not commercial grade and heavy but for light use, I think it will last a long time.I wonder if the sign will start to wear but I see no evidence that it will, I just wonder.Good product!

The indicator lock description proudly states that this lock is ADA conforming, it is NOT. If you need an ADA lock look elsewhere. To unlock this lock you twist the center tab 90 degrees and then you can press down on the handle to open the door. Note this is both a two step process and requires you to have the dexterity to twist the center tab with your finger tips. An ADA lock needs to be fully operable with a closed fist or elbow. The lock itself is designed for a wood door, there are thick metal spikes that keep the entire lock from rotating in the door. For a metal door you will need to grind out slots in the center hole on the door so these tabs fit the door. The latch screws are also only wood screws, compared to the combination wood/metal screws you might be familiar with. I installed in a metal door and used some combination screws from the old lock and notched the door for the anti rotation spikes. If you are installing in a residence note that the indicator is big, almost 4 inches in diameter. The finish on the handles is nice but I wish the edges were rounded a bit more. Maybe that is just because I am comparing the handle with my old lock.I can't comment on the long term durability but the lock does seem to be built with thick metal, so hopefully it will last. The lock works fine and the indicator is a nice addition. If this lock will work for you will depend on if you need to meet ADA code.

This door handle/lock was super easy to install (I did it by myself) and rotates nicely. We have a business that caters to children and the indicators are very helpful for them. It meets the ADA requirements for the state of Florida and I could not be happier!
