It is a large scoop and if your horse is picky at all it’s a tough situation. I’m sure it works as it has the same ingredients as all the others but he just will not eat it at all. Tried molasses with it mixed into his feed and tried apple sauce mixed into his feed. Live and learn, I’ll stick with pellets from now on.

We inherited (rescued) a old ranch horse, that we were unaware had blown out knee until we had already agreed to take him. We decided to let him retire with us and keep him as comfortable as possible as long as we weren't spending a fortune doing it. We tried another supplement and couldn't see a difference, as winter approached we noticed he seemed grouchy, and had a more pronounced limp. I started him on the Vita Flex and after about 3 weeks I actually saw him out running around playing for the fun of it. I had never seen him do that before. I am a believer now! He seems happier, and eats it right up. It did seem to bother his stomach a little when I first started it and was giving him the 2 scoops, I dropped it to one and that seemed to solve the problem.

If you’re dog is having any joint stiffness, walking issues, etc whatsoever, and if you’re even slightly considering this, BUY THIS IMMEDIATELY. It has been an absolute godsend for my dog.I have a 45 pound pit that’s over 10yo. Her back legs started giving out on her when making dynamic movements, it’s like the rest of her body would go where she wanted but her back legs wanted to stay where they were, and she’d just fall over. It didn’t seem to bother her but let’s just say there was a lot of cuddles spent just holding her and crying. To see my once crazy zoomer in this state was devastating. At first it was just a fall here and there but eventually it was getting to be a multiple times a day occurrence. When I realized it was was only getting worse I started exploring options and I’m so grateful I found this.I started by giving her one teaspoon twice per day and within a week there were amazing benefits, I can’t comprehend how effective this was. I’ve just been maintaining 1 teaspoon per day at this point. (Which considering this is a month long supplement for a horse is going to go a long long ways with a dog.)She’s a very picky eater and she’s very suspect of health products and pills mixed into her food, however mixing this powder with yogurt she absolutely loves and comes sprinting into the kitchen when she hears me open the bottle.I can still see a little stiffness and loss of flexibility in those rear legs compared to her younger days, but she’s 10. she’s zooming around again like she’s 5, and most importantly her hind legs are no longer just giving up and falling over.I also give this to my other pup too just for preventative measures. He’s an 8yo mix and his old bones were getting stiff too. you could notice some strain when getting up after a long nap etc, which seem to be gone. he was already a crazy boy and I think his zooms got even more loose and crazy.I am so grateful for this product and it’s going to give my dogs that much better quality of life as we head into the twilight years. I love this supplement I show hunters and they stay very comfortable on this product and eat it readily! I stopped for a BitTorrent save money but that was not a smart decision ! They let me know they were not as comfortable and I promptly put them back on it! They are very happy now!!!!
