I purchased this for my 7 year old and the soft toss works great. I used the tripod to tilt put the pitcher at an angle so that I could move it a further away to allow him more time to recognize the pitch and swing. I highly recommend this.

Variable speeds and spins make hitting the small (golf ball sized) wiffles difficult at first but builds great eye-hand coordination. Highly recommend

I have been wanting to get something like this for my kids that they could use in our basement during the cold winter months. This is absolutely perfect and can grow with them for many years. They just did the soft toss option so far for hours. It's very easy to use and operate. I even liked it so much I purchased another one for my nephews for Christmas!

We purchased this for our boys (ages 10 and 11) for Christmas so they could practice indoor during the winter and in our yard when the weather is nice. We ordered the kit and are very happy with our purchase. The tripod is high quality and easily adjustable. The machine pitches consistently, and the different speeds and settings provide a challenge during their practice sessions. The finger glove was also fun for them to practice catching with. This is a great fit for us because we don't have batting cages close by, and they will be able to practice their swing without me inconsistently trying to pitch to them or losing baseballs that they hit in the woods.

We bought this for our 10YO son to get reps during the winter months. Communication from the seller was fantastic, easy to set up, and worked flawlessly. Would recommend for any age group, as there are different speeds and settings. A+ buy!

We were very skeptical at first when we bought it. But, needed a machine that would keep our son working/practicing throughout the winter months ( and rainy days ). We set it up in our basement in just a few minutes, and went straight to hitting. The photo shows the machine about 28 feet from the plate. It throws strike after strike with the white balls, and once you put the colored balls in it can truly teach plate discipline. As the colored balls will ( by design I would guess ) get a bit wild and break randomly. We had a few concerns when deciding to get this. 1. Worth the money? 2. Will it damage our basement walls when the balls are hit hard ( we have high school age kids hitting). The answer to both of these questions is. Worth every penny and then sum, and not a single mark on the walls. With these kids hitting missiles, wall damage was a concern. We had an issue with the wheels that pitch the ball. Made a call to Chris Richard, and he was more than helpful. Walked me through a few troubleshooting issues to see if he could figure it out. All the while, already sending a replacement machine. Went from nervous, to beyond satisfied in seconds. Top shelf company and owner. Would recommend this machine to anyone from 8-18 years old, the amount of anywhere reps you can get in just a short time is amazing. We have a bunch of teammates over weekly, to put work in. They love it and even turn it into competition. Mostly only use the “soft toss” and “fastball 2” settings. Curve ball settings, also throw consistent strikes. If you have the space, and the kids want to practice. I can’t say enough that it is worth every penny!!

Purchased for my two young sons. Had been debating between this product and a more expensive competitor that looked nearly identical. After researching I decided on the Personal Pitcher. So far it’s been great. My sons enjoy the challenge of hitting a smaller ball, and the different speed settings allow you to adjust the speed and degree of difficulty for the pitches. Look forward to seeing how this impacts gameday hitting performance.
