I bought this multimeter only one year ago, not use it very often, but now I realize it not working at all voltage AC and DC , but resistor testing is ok

What tinkerer would not like a lovely analogue multimeter like this? Works well, but mine is prone to needle fluctuations from outside magnetic forces.

OK. I needed a decent swing arm meter. After buying & returning several Tekpower meters (TP 8260L, 7244L & 8250) that looked really good but totally useless with meter needle drift & mechanical zero instability. An added bonus in the null feature for neg/pos fluctuation & a transistor/diode tester that actually works. Meter is as accurate as my eyes can see. Great value. I would recommend this to anyone needing an inexpensive but very decent meter.

This meter is very nice. The accuracy is better than rated (+- 3%). May purchase a second one. I have my meters from over 50+ years ago and put them away. I was not expecting it to be as nice as it is. This is for my second meter purchase. Works as well as the first one. Don't believe some of the youtube reviews saying it is bad. I have been in electronics for 50+ years and do know how to test meters.

I am an electronics hobbyist and have designed and built many things electronic. I use both analog and digital meters in my projects. I enjoy old school equipment as well as modern. I also use old school calculators such as slide rules which are a lot of fun. Of course, I use modern scientific calculators and digital meters too,This MT2017 is old school but with a surprising accuracy on its volt, ohm, and current readouts. It also has a useful, fairly accurate hFE measurement (within 10-20% of digital hFE meters) to measure the current gain of NPN and PNP transistors which I use in my circuit designs. I am very happy with this MT2017 meter.

Gerät macht einen soliden Eindruck. Preis Leistungsverhältnis top. Der Spannungsbereich +/- 5V und +/- 25V ist oft sehr hilfreich. Eine, für mich, wichtige Ergänzung zum Digitalvoltmeter. Die Zeigerbewegung ist oft aussagekräftiger als ein Meßwert mit vielen Nachkommastellen! Also voll zufrieden. Gruß EDSC

I really like this Pro'sKit MT-2017 Analog Meter! It is a pretty good and accurate meter considering the price. I would not trust it for high voltage and current, but I didn't buy it for that.

I purchased this meter because I liked the null voltage measurement and other features it offered. Unfortunately the meter I received had a defective movement. It was not possible to maintain a mechanical zero of the meter movement. Just squeezing the sides of the meter or laying it down to install the batteries would cause the movement to go to 1/3 deflection and no amount of adjustment of the mechanical center would return it to zero. When it did achieve mechanical zero, readings were questionable. Other times, it seemed to work properly. I returned it for credit.

Probably one of the highest quality/price ratio analog multimeter on the market. Well built but not for contractors battlefield. Perfect for a hobbyst or bench daily routine work. Good feeling, easy to use, fair accuracy and filled with features. One of the best is Null DCV to analyze a DC voltage variation around 0V. I have killed several analog multimeters over 30 years of activity but I am planning this one to keep it in my retirement collection.
