Not really sure how well it works, as fishing is a hit and miss pursuit, but I did catch on a lure first time using it (only time, so far), after blanking the last three times. Only other catch was on ragworm, which may or may not say something about it's potency. As for potency, I can definitely state that it stinks, which is actually what you want from this type of product. Just try not to get it on your fingers - smear it with the bottle end.
