We have it in our pool , heavy people has hanged on this hoop and it has survived, no rust yet, worth the price

This hoop was hung on an existing backboard at an indoor sports facility to replace a hoop that was fine, but old and was looking kind of dull. It was purchased the beginning of August 2022, attached to the existing backboard the end of August and started being used right after Labor day. On September 30th, with less than a full months use, the rim detached from the hardware and now hung down. Yes, more than likely someone tried hanging from the rim but shouldn't that be accounted for as its what people do. Luckily no one was hurt. I have passed the 30 day refund period, have put the old hoop back up and am out $195.00. Once the unit was taken down, you can see the crack of where it just gave out. Save yourself the money and do not buy this product.

My daughter decided to try out for the basketball team just as the weather knock our goal over and shattered the backboard. We ordered the Pro Slam and at firsr we were concerend as my husband was having a difficlut time with the assembly. Once we had it in place, my husband said it is actually much more sturdy than the original. My sons and daughter have been playing almost daily and it's working like a champ.

The rim was solid, seems to be well built, and I expect it will last a long time. Installed on a GoalSetter glass backboard and install was simple and straightforward. Just plan on having a partner to hold rim while you insert spacers and bolts. It's easy but takes more than 2 hands to get it done.

This thing is solid. We bought this for our youth at church after our last one broke from a dunk contest. After a little difficulty to install it, we can full-on hang on the rim like the pros. It really feels like we'll break the backboard before we break this rim!

So far this hoop is very sturdy. Its holding up to a group of teenage boys, ages 15 -19, playing basketball daily. It was easy to install. The hoop fit the previous backboard that is 15 years old. We are happy with our purchase.
