These run small and are restrictive for movement or even bloodflow--hands can't hold well when they're on, and they even go numb which is really unusual for me. I didn't use soon enough to return. Order size up--carefully.They are useless because I can't work with them on, so for me, they are a 0 stars. They don't work at all for me, because they are too tight & restrictive. The pair they replaced had articulated pads on the fingers so your fingers could bend/grip & the padding wouldn't prevent you from gripping with your hands/thumb.

Here is a short review on this specific pair of anti-vibration gloves, followed by information about anti-vibration gloves in general that you may find useful.REVIEW: These gloves are an excellent quality, with adequate padding in the palm and fingers; tight, even stitching; and no rough/poorly sewn seams or edges. The thumb and the inside of the forefinger are a rougher anti-slip material, allowing a better grip, while still maintaining flexibility. The material over the back of the first knuckles is a separately sewn wide band, allowing for easier, more flexible hand movement. (I suspect it also may be good for wiping a sweaty brow, which the material on the rest of the back of the glove may not be, but it's not hot enough for me to test that.) They are very soft, comfortable, and reasonably supple (especially for anti-vibration gloves), but they run SMALL. I have large hands for a woman, and slender fingers. Nearly all men's gloves are too LOOSE in the fingers. In what may be a first for me, these medium gloves were uncomfortably TIGHT in the fingers. I felt the blood was being cut off and questioned whether they would be too painful to wear when working. Since they are not real leather, I wasn't sure how well they would stretch out. My son jammed his (considerably larger) hands into them, and now they are comfortable on me, just a little tight. I'm guessing they will stretch more with regular use. It is recommended that anti-vibration gloves have a looser fit, so next time I will order a large, or possibly even x-large. For those who don't read laundy hyroglyphics, the tag states, "no bleach, no ironing, do not put in dryer, do not dry clean." It doesn't specify whether they can be put in the washing machine. They are 45% synthetic leather, 25% polyester, 20% special foam, and 10% neoprene. Since both synthetic leather and "special foam" can be made from various substances, that means these gloves are 55% unknown material. I'm no expert, but I'm not sure how it is legal not to disclose over half the fiber content. These gloves are made in China.I have long-term self-diagnosed carpal tunnel. Vibrating hand tools, in particular, really aggravate the pain, numbness and tingling. I haven't used these gloves with a vibrating hand tool yet, but will report back when I do.)Anti-vibration gloves are made to somewhat reduce vibration from hand-held power tools. Unfortunately, NO anti-vibration gloves will prevent you from feeling the vibrations. Not even close. But that doesn't mean they don't have their place. Using anti-vibration gloves in lieu of standard, or no, work gloves, comes with benefits and drawbacks. Read on for a somewhat detailed explanation, to determine whether anti-vibration gloves are the right type of gloves for you, and other, more impactful, steps you can take to minimize the effects of working with vibrating hand tools. Now, on to information about anti-vibration gloves in general:Prolonged use of vibrating power tools can result in numbness, tingling, reduction of grip strength--not only in the hand and fingers, but also in the elbow and shoulder. The resulting vascular (vein), bone and nerve damage can be permanent. ISO 10819 is considered the gold standard certification for anti-vibration gloves. In part, it states that the finger padding can be no less than 1/2 the thickness of the palm padding. Finger padding is particularly important because studies show that more vibration is transmitted through the fingers than through the palm. There are two types of vibration that are particularly relevant for nearly all power tools--high frequency vibration and medium-frequency vibration. ISO-certified anti-vibration gloves reduce HIGH-frequency vibration (200-1250 Hz or 2-12.5 m/s squared--primarily angle and dye grinders) by about 40%, meaning that, even under ideal circumstances, you will still feel 60% of the vibration. Anti-vibration gloves reduce MEDIUM-frequency vibration (25-200 Hz, or 0.2-2 m/s squared--power saws, chain saws, orbital sanders, drills, lawn mowers, string trimmers--pretty much all the most common power tools) by only about 10%.In addition, under no circumstances are the gloves allowed to make the vibrations worse, which some non-ISO certified anti-vibration gloves can do with tools operating at certain vibrational frequencies. In actual real world use, it's generally agreed that anti-vibration gloves offer minimal to no protection from long-term damage for heavy users of vibrating hand tools, but anecdotal evidence indicates that it helps with some of the short-term tingling, numbness and soreness experienced by most users. In addition, they keep hands warm and dry, which also reduces the risk of injury caused by vibration. It should be noted that full-finger anti-vibration gloves are recommended over half-finger gloves due to their greater protective area. Some of the drawbacks of using anti-vibration gloves are that, due to their increased padding, they are bulkier, more cumbersome and less tactile than standard work gloves. If you are concerned about numbness, tingling, weakness, etc. from the use of power tools, there are other, more significant, factors that reduce vibration. First--The quality of the tool. In most cases, low quality tools will vibrate much more than higher quality tools. In the US, you can find the vibration measurement of most tools by asking the manufacturer or looking at the manual. In the EU, they publish some kind of master list of over 2500 tools, but I'm not sure where to find it. Second--Grip, hand position and stance. A tight grip or incorrect hand position/stance will increase vibration. Shifting hand position can help. Third, limit your time--both at one sitting and over the course of the day. The higher the vibration, the less time you should do it. Plan to take a break from the vibrations about every 10-15 minutes, at least for a few minutes. Shaking out and stretching your hands and arms can help, too.If you've made it to the end, congratulations for being an information nerd like me. Thanks for reading, and I hope you found this review helpful.

I got these because they have significant padding for when I am gripping and pushing the lawn mower. And I can work my fitness watch without removing them.Today I tested them out, and I am so happy to report that my hands and wrists are not aching, post mowing. The gloves prevented stiffness, also. These gloves also work better than my weight lifting gloves, which, in comparison, have barely any padding.

The gloves are very well put together, the leather on the palm is thick and padding inside is just right to isolate vibrations while not impacting flexibility too much.I also like the finger tabs on two fingers that allow to remove the gloves easily by pulling.I would give it all 5 stars, but they are clearly at least a size too small for declared size. I recommend you purchase them, but make sure to buy one size larger if you like tight but comfortable fit. Buy two sizes larger if you like loose fit. If you buy a size larger, you are getting 5-star gloves IMO.

I measured and have hands that should be in a size small for these gloves. Ordered a medium.Palm is large, fingers are weirdly tight and small. They bunched up so much that I gave up on using the gloves. THe way the ends of the fingers rub will quickly cause calluses and possibly blisters.I have issues with vibrations causing numbness so really was hoping these would fit well and could be used for yard work. Perhaps if I pair them with a tight pair of gloves underneath?

These gloves where a bit snug on my hands and I originally picked the size I would normally get. Putting them on was easy, but getting them off was a complete headache. Also, it would take numerous uses for you to even start to break these in. They're very stiff and they seem to run a tab bit on the smaller side. I wanted to exchange these to get a size larger, but unfortunately it seems the only option was for me to return them.
