I which that I could give this more than 5 stars because it deserves it. I have been doing floors for about 8 years and this is the best wedge I have come across. They give you stability and do not move after you put them in place. These are a game changer for me. No more sliding under the baseboard. Nice design, easy to use and very affordable. I highly recommend these.

When installing engineered wood plank flooring (and laminate flooring) you need to leave space for the flooring to expand and contract as the humidity changes. You don't want to make this gap too big (trust me on this) or too small and you want the gap to be uniform. So you need some sort of spacer and you need a bunch of them. There's nothing particularly magic about said spacers -- lots of different solutions will work just fine. And this spacer is one such solution that works just fine. These spacers have two different gap sizes built into them (use the size that is appropriate for your job). The design of the spacer is such that you won't accidently mix one gap size with the other. It's pretty obvious when one is out of whack with the rest.

Excellent spacers, large enough quantity to cover almost any room on your starter course.Ended up using some wooden shims and a chalk line to ensure a true straight edge, and these were invaluable in getting my flooring install to go smoothly.

These work well, I like them better than the wedge design.

Very sturdy and hard plastic. Great for installing wood flooring. Because of the shape, these spacers sat flush against the wall they stayed put the entire time. Much better than the wedge type, and are a buy once and use a lifetime tools. Used to install a floating engineered hardwood and they worked like a charm. Only improvement would be a reusable storage container, though an empty plastic deck screw bucket did the trick. These are quality enough for professional use and easy enough for an average diyer. Great item!
