I gave it an honest abuse test, had a few jams and it's a pain in the a** to clear. It's a little bulkier than some of my higher end guns. It does drive nicely, and holds to reams of nails at a time which is convenient. It also comes with what I call a rafter hook? To be able to hang it while you're working and that parts decent as well.

Well built, sturdy, easy to use. Puts nails in fast, consistent depth and with very few concerns of loading and using. As with most tools, a few practice rounds is advised to make you comfortable with usage, especially safety concerns. The weight is definitely to be considered, depending on project, if you are a DIY like me (probably not for the professional). I just take short work times to keep everything safe and have no problems.

Yes, price is cheaper if you would pay for well known brand.Use it wuth 2.5 inch nails. No issues with loading. No air leak. Works good. Really good(not much) on recoil. The weight is average.I really wish it would come in plastic storage case. Unfortunately it doesn't. You will needto find some carring bag for it. Otherwise it is good gun for the price.

We have owned and operated many air driven nailers in our many years as contractors. We have usually kept to the branded nailers for durability and ability. This nailer from Stafanailer arrived quickly and compares in size and weight with our Bostich framer. The tool is indeed beefy with a cast aluminum housing and a steel nail magazine. A nice touch was the pre-installed air fitting. Most of the previous air tools we own never had one attached. The nailer works as expected, accepting a wide range of nails equivalent to 8D up to 16D. The toothy contact point allows for grip to keep your tool centered on the point of nailing and holds well as the tool is actuated. As most framers, this tool is designed to drive a nail if your finger is depressing the trigger and you bump-contact the wood. It does this well and, provided you have adequate air pressure will allow for rapid fastening of most lumber. One item of concern is the lack of what appears to be a button washer that allows for single trigger actuation. We are confused by the instruction booklet on how to achieve this setting without an additional piece. The tool arrived in a (seemingly) factory sealed box. When comparing the pictures on the Amazon page to the included items, we are lacking this button washer (?) and what appears to be a rafter hook. We are also confused by the artwork further down the page that mentions "spare parts" including a piston driver, a polymer bumper and the drive nose. Only one of these items are listed on the seller's page as being available for purchase, the piston drive is absent as well as a replacement contact nose. We have rarely needed to replace a piston drive, but knowing one can be purchased is nice, particularly for an off-branded tool that will see demanding use. We have ordered more than one item from overseas that magically disappeared from availability when it came time to purchase replacement parts.Due to our cautious nature, we are allowing 4 stars for now and hope these parts become available as the tool ages.

I ordered the Stafanailer NR2183 Framing Nail Gun to replace my Antiquated Pneumatic Framing Nail Gun, We use the 3-1/2-Inch Galvanized Ring Shank Nails in this Gun. The Stafanailer Nail Gun Has a Bit of Weight to it with the Standard Steel Magazine, I didn't order the Alloy Magazine Option, Like all Framers We are hard on Nail Guns so I stayed with the Time Proven Standard Steel Magazine this time. The Nail Gun has a good Balance to it, the Gun sets the Nails without a Lot of Recoil - This is a Feature that I Really love.I gave the Stafanailer NR2183 Framing Nail Gun A Full Five Star Rating Across the Board, The Nail Gun has Been Very Reliable, Easy to Use, and Very Durable to name a few of them.

I was actually really shocked about how good of a nail gun this is. I used a little nail gun for trim that was amazing and this is really about the same type of set up. However, I think this wants to use a bigger nail. I used an eight penny nail and I’m looking to make a 12 penny nail. They are so helpful for framing. I got the steel model and that’s exactly what I needed. Really great quality everyone that does any building needs this!

Okay so admittedly I really know nothing about these types of things but my husband is an expert in home improvement related issues and he said this has worked very well for him. We have been slowly doing some home improvement projects on our old house we inherited from his grandmother and this has come in handy a few times. He said it's very easy to use and has very good precision.

This is my first nail gun so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is very powerful but also is heavier than my son-in-law's. It seems well built and should last a long time but only time will tell. It is pretty easy to use and I like that it is pneumatic so I never have to reach for a battery. It nails at a good angle and holds a lot of nails. I am helping my son-in-law finish his basement and this has been very helpful.
