I bought this because I had a ps5 controller with a button and joystick issue. I hadn't even thought to repair it myself when I saw this kit. It has basically everything you need to take your ps5 controller apart. The joystick replacements are almost identical to the stock ps5 ones but they are slightly smoother in the center. I found a youtube that walked me through the steps of taking it apart and this kit had what I needed. The tiny screwdriver was really needed and is also magnetized so you don't lose the tiny screws as you take it apart. The pry tools are helpful as well just remember go slow and you won't break anything. I am really happy with this kit. The 8 bucks and an hour of my time repaired a controller. I am not particularly handy so if I can do this most likely so can you. Two things that can be helpful if you do it yourself are having some masking tape and a needle nose pliers. You don't need them but it makes it easier.

I needed to replace a thumb stick after the rubber part broke off, and this kit was super easy to use! It came with no instructions, but you can find video tutorials online (which are better because they’re visual). The screwdriver was super nice since there’s a little magnet at the tip that makes sure you don’t easily lose the tiny screws. I mainly used the blue tool the most; it helped me pry off the casing of the controller. It was definitely worth it since the online tutorial I watched involved someone using their thumbnail (ouch) to pry off the controller case. Would highly recommend this if you want to save money instead of buying a replacement controller!
