I gave this five stars because I love Professional Choice fly masks, but was disappointed with the color. The picture looks like it would be the color tan, but when it was gray

This mask never stayed in place, even from the beginning. One evening as I was driving down the driveway, I noticed that my 20-year-old retired TB mare was running along the fence after me. The fly mask was twisted so badly that both ears were hanging off one side of her head, one eye hole was nowhere to be seen, and the other was stuck in the middle of her face, like a cyclops. I went into the paddock and she ran up to me. Fortunately, the mask is so stretchy that, even as twisted as it was, I was able to pull it over her ears and off the top of her head. If this had happened after dark, I would not have been able to help her until the next morning when I went out to bring her inside for the day. She might have hurt herself badly struggling to get it off or at least been terribly unhappy. This mask is too stretchy and flimsy. By the time I threw it away, the stretchy parts were becoming worn, thin, "pilled," and "see through" after only a few weeks. It's probably fortunate that the fabric was so thin because she could see me even with the eye holes being who-knows-where but nowhere near her eyes.

Great idea, light and stays on pretty good. One improvement is the eye mesh could be more durable. Mine rub a bit and tear the mesh eye array. Overall I like them better than Farnams regular fly masks

First, let me say I generally hate fly masks. My horse had an eye procedure done recently due to the horrible flies. He needed a fly mask, so I bought one from the regular feed store. I hated it. It didn't work for my horse because it rubbed the bridge of his beautiful little face raw. I also couldn't see his eyes because of the thick meshing. So, I took to Amazon to find exactly what I was looking for. As usual, I did. This fly mask I love. It's comfortable for my horse, I know he can see, and it's a really adorable on him. I'm buying another one right now that's how much I love it. It also keeps the flies out and it doesn't constrict anything on his face. Unlike most of the other fly masks that come with impossible wrinkles, this one came out of the box perfectly and fit him like a glove I know he's way more comfortable in it and that is what matters to me the most.

Love this fly mask/ Easy to put on and STAYS on! good looking. It does to appear wearing in at the seems and I'm not sure how long it will stay together, but I will definately buy another one to replace it.

Decided some sort of fly protection necessary after so many deer flies bothering our horses on trail rides... I looked at several different types & brands before choosing this one.. I liked the idea of it just sliding on, no Velcro & being Lycra, non-bulky under bridle.. I’ve had crochet fly bonnets but wanted “something else”. They came in cute plastic containers, a plastic bag or cardboard container would've made more sense but oh well.. I ordered the horse size as anything cob or Arabian sized never fit my Arabians! That said, maybe these are a tad large but a non-issue given I sorta went w what reviews said. The go on easy enough, don’t appear to be able to come off like the crochet ear bonnets when horses shake & I may end up cutting a spot for the horses forelocks to come through.. dislikes & durability? No serious dislikes on company’s end, cover might be a tad large on my one horse ; durability, we’ll wait n see. So, yes, I’d order these again if necessary
