They are very solidly made.Perhaps the boots need some sort of sizing though. Used them on a 14.1 hh mare. Have tried numerous ways of keeping them in place and none of the attempts have worked. Tried using the knee boots in conjunction with other boots that come up the cannons but this just results in the other boots being forced down. Tried tightening them down to an extreme degree but they still came down. Tried them upside down and also swapped from left to right and still no luck keeping them up. Tried Using them in conjunction with other wraps around the knees but they managed to pull the other wraps down as well.

I had hoped this would help my old horse's knees that have been injured by trying to stand up on rough surfaces. They did better uncovered.

The knee pads do not stay up. You have to make them so tight that circulation is compromised. I use them twice both times they ended up down around the the canon bone

It fit well and pretty much stayed in place. I used on an old mare with a sore knee.
