This is unusable if the cylinder heads are on - the follower and guide will go into the lifter bore but there is not enough room to mount the dial indicator in my application (Gen2 426)

Good tool with lazy company. Send a dial indicator without the lug on the back. This won't fit to readout with the lug on it.
