IT IS IRRESPONSIBLE TO ADVERTISE AN UNLAWFUL USE OF THIS PRODUCT.One of this product’s key “features” is the ability to block outgoing calls to specific numbers, including 911. While this might sound helpful to prevent accidental calls, blocking access to emergency services is both dangerous and potentially illegal.🚨 Federal Law Prohibits Interference with Emergency CommunicationsThe Federal Communications Commission (FCC) enforces strict rules to ensure access to emergency services. According to FCC regulations:“Federal law prohibits the operation, marketing, or sale of any type of jamming equipment that interferes with authorized radio communications, including those used for emergency services such as 911.”— FCC Jammer EnforcementEven if this device doesn't operate by radio jamming, deliberately blocking or restricting access to 911 could violate federal safety requirements for telecommunications equipment.⚖️ Criminal Liability for Hindering Emergency CallsUnder 18 U.S. Code § 1510 and other related statutes, interference with crime reporting or emergency communication can rise to the level of obstruction of justice.Further, many state laws make it a misdemeanor or even felony to interfere with someone’s attempt to call 911. For example, in Minnesota, it is illegal to intentionally prevent or hinder another person from placing an emergency call:“A person who intentionally prevents or hinders another from placing an emergency call is guilty of a misdemeanor.”— Minnesota Statute § 609.78🛑 Bottom Line: This Is Not a Safe or Lawful ProductNo matter what the marketing claims, it is extremely irresponsible to include 911 in any blocking feature — especially without strong safety overrides or user protections. Please consider the risks. If someone in your home, business, or school cannot call 911 during a medical emergency, fire, or crime — you could be held liable, and someone could be seriously harmed or killed.Do not buy this unless you fully understand and accept those risks — and even then, I would recommend against it.
