Poorly made crap from China. Would not fit over my bulb. I got a refund and the shade is going in the trash. It's not even worth bringIng to a thrift store as a thrift store usually has better quality shades.

This is a nice little shade, meant for a very small lamp - probably for a mini lamp (ie, those 9" tall ones). Too small for my lamp. My bad for not measuring!

This barrel style shade gives an instant modern update to my transitional style bronze chandelier, and the shape and color coordinates well with drum and barrel shades in modern table and floor lighting. I tried several other shade styles, much preferred the white silk fabric, shape and fabrication of Progress P8704-01 sold on Amazon, but that shade has a nickel candle chaser attachment which sits at the socket and did not look great with my fixture. This shade clips on top of the bulb with a silver tone clip (I would have preferred brass); see photo. I am currently using narrow curved tip frosted incandescent chandelier bulbs, they fit fine with some slight adjusting for the tip; I plan to switch over to straight tip clear LED chandelier bulbs and bought these shades to hide them. While not as nice as the other (much more expensive) Progress shade, this shade appears to be well made and looks great . . . wish I had purchased them earlier. Color in picture is accurate, fabric is like a muslin with a few darker flecks, it gives a warmer tone when lit compared to my older lighter colored shades.Note to Progress Lighting: please add more photos to your listings, especially of attachment hardware.

They were nice but nothing exceptional. I needed hem as a replacement pair the landlord was going to charge $45 for him to replace. His was a jury rigged upside down gaudy, no match to decor that was already damaged when my daughter moved in. I would not have paid this amount if I had not needed this item. It was sufficient and quality was good. Just a little pricey, but not as much as ordering through a trailer company.
