PROTOform is once again throwing it back to 1971 with the latest entry in our line of bodies for Vintage Trans-Am racing: the 1971 Chevrolet® Camaro™ Z28.
One of the iconic cars of its generation, the Z28 tore up both the streets and Trans-Am series tracks with pure American V8 power. In true Super Chevy® style, we've replicated the distinctive "split-bumper" configuration along with all the other signature Z28 design details for an exceptionally scale look.
For the first time in our VTA body lineup, the Z28 is formed from a single piece of polycarbonate and requires no assembly. That's right: no more shoo-goo or hardware needed before you hit the track. An all-new molding process developed by the engineers at PROTOform has allowed us to capture realistic front and rear undercuts on the Z28 without the need for an add-on nose piece.
This officially-licensed product meets all VTA Class rules and includes a detailed decal sheet, protective overspray film and window masks.

The lexcan is a little thin but, it ended using it for a drift style build.

The add says this body would be good on 190 mm, not true. It looks like crap, it is a 200mm body so this was a complete waste of money. It wasn't apparent until it was cut down to fit over the car. The add should not mention 190mm, period. It also shouldn't come up in a search for a tt02 body. This was a waste for me.My 3 stars is for the discription.

This fits perfectly on my Traxxas4tec 2.0 Good detail, very realistic.

With a little "butchery" I was able to fit this body to my Traxxas Stampede that I carpet race. Not only does it look good but it's thick enough that it doesn't get damaged easily and doesn't flap around after jumps or crashes.

Eine sehr schöne detaillierte Karosserie. Mit der Farbe habe ich mir sehr schwer getan um eine zu finden wo mir gefällt.Aber wie man sieht, habe ich mich glaube meiner Meinung nach für die richtige entschieden. Auf den Bilder sehr schwer zu erkenne, ist aber ein metallic Lack.Finde es ist ein sehr schönes Auto geworden.Karosserie liegt nur drauf. Wird noch mit Magneten ausgestattet dann kommt sie auch etwas höher. Bilder folge.

I used it on a Rustler Vxl 2wd. Fits great! Just had to cut a little on front fenders. Looks great ! I just need to change tires and it will look better. Great design and great fit. Very easy to paint.

I'm an American muscle car enthusiast and this '71 Camaro Z28 clear body really grabbed my attention. I like racing 1/10 scale RC cars and this body is just perfect for a Tamiya re-build that I just finished.When I have really nice scale bodies like this one, I don't like to put holes in them for the body mounts. Instead, I use rare earth magnets to secure them to the chassis for an easy body on and off replacement and looks great on the shelf too!This is a very nice scale reproduction of an American classic muscle car which comes with window masking, instructions and a decal set. The masking and painting process took me an afternoon to finish, but the result is worth it.

This pro line camaro shell is pretty sweet, as soon as I took it out of the box (and pkg.), I could see that this was well detailed with the right decals for a realistic look. I was even more impressed after the paint dried. The thickness of polycarbonate is good. I highly recommend this item to anyone into the rc hobby, especially those who love vintage muscle cars and Camaros in particular. See photos.
