We ordered this vacuum a few months ago as we own a cleaning company and so many of our customers have TONS of pet dander. We wanted a bagged system that kept us from having to hand clean the filth. It definitely worked for that. Suction is pristine. However, the entire back strap part is shredding and barely holding on to the actual system. I have had to unscrew the fabric and re-screw it multiple times so it didn't fall off my back and damage someones hardwood floors… unfortunately it looks like Im going to have to find some kind of way to use this vacuum besides the fabric that it originally came with as its barely holding on. Very upsetting for the price I paid. Hoovers backpack vacuum (we’ve had for 5 years) straps/etc have held up amazingly and haven’t shed a single thread. Im not sure what we can do other than carry this HEAVY vacuum base as we try to vacuum. Wouldn’t recommend just based off of suction because if you dont have a strap to carry it on it’s basically useless.

My husband recently opened his own cleaning business and decided to give this vacuum a shot. After one use of this product, we quickly noticed the the quality of this product is not something that will be useful for long term. We are very disappointed with the quality of this product after spending $800+ dollars on multiple units to help grow our business. If you plan on using this product for jobs other than home, keep doing your research.

I clean homes and love using a backpack vacuum. My old one broke and was not in stock so I ordered this one. The hose from the machine to the wand was way too long. My husband cut off about 8 inches and it is perfect.

After using a 6 ton Kirby for over a decade on my 900 square foot home, it was time to upgrade to something that is lighter weight without sacrificing power or product quality. I have been using this Prolux for several months now and any complaints I have are about the layout of my house than about this product. The aluminum wands were a major selling point compared to the plastic wands being offered by "high end" competitors. I did not, however, receive the owners manual that the hilarious quick start guide was referring to, which shouldn't be an issue unless you have a hard time distinguishing what end of a light bulb goes into a socket. I would buy this product again in the future, but hopefully not for many years as the design should hold up against my ogre like movements.

Compared to several expensive Dysons and even Nilfisk this is an excellent vacuum. Well designed, carefully manufactured, it performs beyond expectations. Needed something 'industrial strength' to deal with dust during a major home renovation. It has met all our expectations and more. Haven't used the fancy cordless, bagless Dyson since this arrived!

We have had a similar unit since we opened our Municipal Building in 2007. We could not obtain repair parts, so this unit was suggested as a replacement. It seems to be working well in the short time since we received it.
