The tripod itself is worth the price but the shelf is extremely flimsy, bends and will not hold much weight. I took it off and cut a piece of plywood, painted it black and works perfectly.

I bought this to use as a stand for mackie mixer. Stand is well built, with a good solid plastic top. Easy to adjust. I was concerned the plastic top would be flimsy. It does have some flex but you have to push pretty hard. I have no concerns of it failing. Locks and handles are well built. Folds up nice for packing. Would buy again.

Be aware that the tray itself is plastic and not metal, but still feels solid and stable.

Works great. I use it to hold my laptop beside the pulpit when I am preaching. The clamping mechanisms are very robust. The pin for the height adjustment doesn’t give exact height adjustment, but I trust it more than the twist collar friction type. I am very satisfied.

I just received this stand and I really like it. Unfortunately, the tray size is too big. In the product photos, it clearly shows the size of the tray being 11" x 16", but when I assembled the stand, I found the tray to be 16" x 20", which is too big for my needs. I reviewed the product information and, while in the product photos it shows 11 x 16, in the product description it says 16 x 20. I am returning the stand.

I love this. It’s perfect for doing guitar pedal reviews for my YouTube channel. Or if I am practicing guitar I can use it for my iPhone to watch lessons. It’s great. Nice and sturdy. Folds up real well and doesn’t take much space.

When you consider that this unit is supporting maybe a $2000 projector, you would want a unit that is very sturdy and stable. This unit is not. The table is made of light plastic, and I can't figure out how to make it support my 8 lb projector in a completely level fashion. If I were to do it again, I would also consider a stand with wheels. I have to move this stand into position every time I use the projector, and I literally have to pick it up to move it into position. I now take the projector off the stand each time I move the stand so as to avoid the projector slipping off the stand. Too many steps for such a simple action.
