I wanted to do a flame comparison video but I keep forgetting. Let's just say this has far more adjustability of the flame vs my Bernzomatic, which has none. It feels very similar in build quality and works flawlessly with all my cylinders.

There great, I’ve been using them for years …I lost one of mine on a job …Compared lighting them with a striker of just no comparison … The same way with working on a job , where you can have the torch adjusted up or down with overheat it They’re just great. !!!

Seems as good as Bernzomatic, at $15 less.

I own a couple different versions of this product and this one surpasses them all! Right out of the box I realized how much different this is. It is heavy, well built, and feel SOLID - very much unlike the manual light ones or the plastic ones. It screwed onto my propane bottle with no issues and worked like a charm all day. It is easy to operate and reliable. It has a continuous flame feature that I've never seen before, but I admittedly have already used because it is so handy. This will be my go to while the others sit as spares. Here’s my rating scale for products:1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again.2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better.3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can't find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed.4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This item met my expectations.5 Stars: I love this product and would highly recommend to friends & family.Additional Information: As a Vine reviewer, I know that people depend on these early revies as I to depend on reviews when shopping on Amazon. I fully intend to give honest insights. Because I pay taxes on the retail value of the products I receive (approximately 40%, which includes 15.3% for Social Security/Medicare taxes and 25% for Federal Income taxes), I will not only leave a review, but should my view change I will update the review as well.

I recently purchased this trigger start torch for my home DIY projects and it has exceeded my expectations! The torch is very user-friendly with a trigger-start ignition which makes it super easy to light without fumbling with matches or a separate lighter. It produces a strong, consistent flame that can be easily adjusted according to my needs. The ergonomic design ensures that it’s comfortable to hold for extended periods, reducing fatigue. I’ve used it for everything from plumbing to crafts, and it works flawlessly every time. It quit heavy and feels sturdy and well-made and reliability. Definitely a great value for the price, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and hassle-free torch.

The 2 biggest issues I've come across with torches in this price range is:1. A loose fit in the ignition button that reduces the gas flow when you set the flame lock and release the button, which relieves pressure off the fuel valve and produces a weaker flame.2. The tip of the igniter wire is poorly positioned so that the igniter stops working after using the torch for more than a minute or so because the tip of the burner gets hot enough to melt the insulation around the ignition wire causing it to ground out against the burner tube and the ignitor has to maintain a spark gap at the end of the wire in order to work properly.Neither of those common issues appear to be a problem with this torch. There is little to no play in the ignition button and after running this torch wide open for several minutes it continues to ignite reliably on the first trigger pull every time. The moment you hold this thing in your hand you can tell its of solid construction by its weight and the comfortable curvature of its grip. Ive gone through plenty of torches, both name brand and off brand. Its almost impossible to maintain these things forever because of the impurities commonly found in propane cylinders and the tiny orifices that these things require to produce a clean flame so we'll see how this unit holds up against the test of time but so far I'm pleasantly surprised by how well this thing was put together and see no reason to spend more money on something that claims to offer the same features.

This propane torch head is super convenient as it lets you ditch the sparkers that are typically used to light the torch. The blue button is a combo master on/off switch and striker while the gold knob adjusts the volume of gas. Lighting the torch was as simple as rotating the blue switch to on, turn the gold knob just a bit until you hear gas and depressing the blue switch. The only nit I had with the product is that it feels like the threads are weak and could easily cross thread. I had to spin the torch head around backwards a few times to slot it into the threads on the tank. I have not had to do that with other torch heads. Just something to be mindful of. 4/5 stars worthy.
