It is very flimsy and hard to light compared to the old one that it was going to replace. I have to click the igniter about 50 times before it lights. Gas control knob doesn’t have a positive feel so I question the quality and safety of this torch.I will give it a chance and try it for one more week but probably return it, very disappointed.

It is decent. If using for a prolonged time, the condensation freezes the valve and you need to wait a while until it will work again. It also seems to leak a bit so now I have to store it off of the propane tank which kind of defeats the convenience of it.,

Needed an ignitor for my propane tanks and this does the trick! Easy to screw on, hold, and depress the trigger. Flow control is smooth and it works well. Only used on propane, so can't say how it would do with Mapp gas.
