The hose torch with an adjustable included holster for the fuel canister, keeps gas cylinder secure. A 4.9ft hose ensures safe working in narrow or hard-to-reach spaces. Don't have to worry about tipping the propane tank more than 60 degrees. Our Trigger-Start propane torch head easily ignites the flame in seconds and flame control valve sizes the flame and extinguishes. The nozzle boasts a unique steel pusher design with 6 blades to achieve high-output heat, precise flame control, and faster welding speed.

operation

Igniting the torch

  • Turn the adjusting knob of main valve counter clockwise until it reaches the maximum level; Turn ON the sub valve slowly, pushing the igniting trigger at the same time until the torch is ignited;
  • Adjust the sub valve until the flame meets your requirement;

Turning off the torch

  • Turn OFF the sub valve to let the flame go off

After Usage

  • After usage, turn OFF the sub valve first, and then turn the adjusting knob of main valve clockwise to the OFF position; Disconnect the torch from the cylinder, and put the cylinder at a place in open air where children could not reach; In open air, turn ON the sub valve to discharge the rest gas in the hose, and then turn OFF the sub valve.

Q: Is the propane torch piezo igniter sensitive?

A: Under normal circumstances, the torches light better when the valve is cracked open and there is light gas flow. If your propane torch so hard to light, maybe the gas flow rate is too fast, adjust the valve appropriately and try again.

Q: Tausom trigger-start hose torch can you use propane or map gas?

A: Yes. you can use either. Our mapp gas torch works great.

Q: Does this hose torch as shown include the holster?

Q: This propane torch can it melt steel or metal?

A: Yes, but it may take some time with the right type of flux. You also have to adjust the angle and the space from the target to be able to produce enough heat to melt or soften the steel or iron.

The large gas knob can sieze up, being virtually impossible to reopen (even with a pair of channel-locks) Of course the side tee fitting to the hose is also very delicate and easy brokn when attempting to fix the first problem.

Have been using this product for 6 months now and the spark no longer works as well as the valve to open the tank is very stiff. Loved the product when it was new. Really upsetting because one of the best torches I’ve used

First one received, the main valve was locked up. Wouldn’t turn. No matter how hard you turn would not turn to open. The project was on complete hold because of this problem. Received the exchanged replacement the very next day. Works with no problems. Very convenient and the hose is flexible. The first spark lights up the flame every time. Like the pouch to hold the cylinder. Bag is very durable.

It works perfectly fine once you get it started. You may need to hit the spark switch multiple times to get it to flame on. Not because it is a fault of the devise itself. (Weather, temperature, wind, etc....) I don't know how many clicks you get with the built in switch but I'm betting that you will need a separate device for lighting at some point in time.

Auto start quit after 2 ignitions, torch tip super dangerous as metal used is too thin and not meant for this, glows bright red after 20 seconds and if will stay at that temp for a long time so if you dont have water or steel to put tip into or on its burning through whatever it grazes including pouch and cheap platic holder. Flame control piece fell out from inside nozzle aswell. SUPER DANGEROUS TORCH!!!!!!

Initially it was a great torch tip however it is not very durable. The metal tip just fell off one day and isn’t easy to reassemble correctly. For home or occasional use it would be fine but not for the working field.

I’ve had a Mapp torch for over 2 years and have been using a standard gun and trigger, that often extinguishes the flame, when inverted.This works perfectly and makes lighting the grill easy. I wish I had found it sooner.It’s the best thing I’ve purchased in quite a while. Don’t hesitate to grab one if you’re on the fence. You will not regret it.
