Easy to read at night, clock keeps time. A little confusing to set up until you get the hang of it. Reliable, haven't been late to work yet.update, I have had this clock for 4 years. it works fine always wakes me up. I do need to replace it because it is getting behind on time, not a big deal but its about 10 minutes behind, and for whatever reason when daylight savings came I had a hard time being able to change the time. For whatever reason it will not enter that mode so I have to get a new clock since i can no longer adjust the time.

Update: Completely stopped working after two days. So bummed! I really liked this clock!I just used this for the first time last night and I'm impressed so far. I was looking for a new alarm clock that had: 1) dual alarms 2) a big screen with green numbers preferably and 3) a gradual alarm clock. This hits all three. First of all, I think some of the comments and reviews are confusing because on this product page, you can select between the 1.2 inch screen with blue numbers or the 1.8 inch screen with green numbers. Because of this, I'm not sure which reviews are for which product. So, just so you know...this review is for the 1.8 inch screen with green numbers.I love that it is a dual alarm. It is fairly easy to set and operate if you have operated other dual alarm clocks. I didn't even look at the instructions because this is my third dual alarm clock over the years and they all pretty much set the same. Pretty easy in my opinion.I love that it is a large screen with green letters. I wear contacts during the day so at night, I have a hard time seeing my clock. This completely solves that problem. After testing it out last night, whenever I woke, I could easily see the numbers-no problem. Nice and clear. My old alarm had smaller numbers with a backlight and blue numbers-MUCH harder to see. This is perfect. It does have a dimmer to take the brightness down slightly. It still is a tiny bit brighter than I would prefer but the other good things outweigh that.Lastly, I like that it has a gradual alarm. It starts out more quiet and then gets louder. I want to play around with this to see if the sound is at all adjustable-I can update after I find l=out. But I do like that option. I wake up right away and turn my alarms off so a quieter start is a nice option. So far so good. I'll update with any additional updates.

Bought 2 of them, though cheap, one has already failed in around 30 days of lite usage (now no audio/sound), just after the return allowance time expired - so can not return. Hard to set the alarms, and hard to choose functions. Buttons are cheap and the quality feels sub standard. Display is nice, very large readout, and the indicators on the front are nice. You can dim the display easily. I do like the footprint, it is tall and skinny, easily fits on a night stand. Sound is poor, no base, on very aluminum tin can sounding. So overall, worth a chance for the cheap price, if you want something for the clock and display feature, might not for you, but if you routinely change your alarms, and jump between different wakeup times, it just seems too difficult to use.

There is a know reoccurring issue with this unit suddenly and randomly shutting down and not ever turning back on with more than one complaint regarding this issue. I am personally one of these people it has happened to. I bought mine from the seller biddeal on Amazon and albeit it was over a year later and they were familiar with this issue, they refused to do the ethically right thing and exchange it or compensate for it.Any SELLER continuing to sell this unit at this point unit, in my opinion, would be irresponsible, distrustful, and disrespectful to buyers. The ONLY good thing about this clock is the big clear numbers that can be read across a large living space, which is why it was initially purchased. The radio is terrible, and the entire unit stopped working completely (meaning that the numbers went blank and the unit is dead).Check the reviews, this is not a one time issue. My warning is: Don't waste your money buying this, or anything from any seller who would sell this unit at this point.

The clock looks fine, it sounds ok but I've tried for 30 minutes to figure out how to set the alarm and can't figure it out... I would't buy again.

I must take meds twice a day, 9:30 am and 9:30 pm. This is a great reminder for me every day. 1 quick tap on the top and the alarm shuts off. I have it set to repeat every day, so no resetting. I am glad it has 2 alarm settings per day. Works great for me, will do the same for you.

This clock worked fine...as alarm clocks go. The display was large and easy to see. And it does have battery back up for power outages (2 AAA batteries). It also has 2 programmable alarms, with multiple source choices for the alarm (Buzzer, Radio, Bluetooth, and Auxiliary Input). It also has several radio presets so you can pre-program your favorite stations into the memory. (This function takes some figuring out, but it's kind of cool to have that in a clock radio.)The buttons on top of the unit have multiple functions. So you have to really pay close attention to what you're doing to get them to work the way you want them to. The instructions aren't very clear, but reading them will help you figure out what you need to do to get it to work. However, I'm giving it three stars because it did not suit my needs. The alarm (the main reason you'd buy one of these things) was more of an "arch-nemesis" than a "gentle helping hand"! Here's what I mean, the clock has an electronic volume controlled alarm on it that "gradually" increases in volume until it reaches it's loudest. BUT, the word GRADUALLY is a gross overstatement! The volume ramped up so quickly that it was more like a 747 passenger jet flying into your room early in the morning! The panic that I experienced every time that thing went off was not desirable at all! I personally don't need that level of noise to wake up in the morning! It was TOO LOUD for me! Although, you can adjust the volume during regular radio playing, there's no way to manually regulate the volume of the alarm itself. So I had to send this one back and go back to my old clock until I can find what I'm really looking for!
