As a home builder, this is far and away the best product i use for caulking. It is not easy to work because it is so sticky, but it stays stuck and is flexible better than any other product I know of. It is recommended for sealing boat portholes... that should give you peace-of- mind!

For the person with the one star rating, this product is INTENDED to remain soft and flexible. It is not for sealing fuel containers. I used it on the roof of my house which gets inclement weather down to minus 35, plus pounding thunderstorms in the summer. This stuff stays flexible and stciks to everything (which is kindof a pain when you apply it). But, in fact it is so sticky and goo-ey with metal that it can seal a surface waterproof when your metal is WET. It's far and away better than the clear silicone products out there which eventually will de-bond from the metal over 10-15 years. The one star rating is undeserved. This stuff gets a 6 on a five point scale. But it is very expensive compared to latex and silicone based stuff. For those who really need to have something work to protect expensive investments from water damage, this stuff is beyond fantastic.

In the recent heavy rains, we had some serious gutter and flashing leaks. We were able to seal the leaks in the rain with Pro-Seal 34, and the repair worked instantly!. The product saved us from expensive interior damage to our house. The caulking was sticky so we used disposable gloves. We did call the 800 number on the tube also, and they told us the caulking is supposed to stay tacky. We're going to use it on a roof leak we have on our RV. Great product find!

Pro-Seal 34 is not designed for fuel at all. Pro-Seal 870 manufactured by Berg Dahl located in Nevada can be used for fuel. Fyi Pro-Seal 34 remains tacky to be able to expand and contract very well with heat and cold.

Read something about the product being able to seal fuel tanks and being a quick set product. The product would not seal the holes and really never set
