This is a nice bench rest cleaning rod. The rod is made of quality steel and machined excellently.There is a ball bearing in the handle so that the shaft will spin with the rifling.My Rod came very slightly bowed which could have been due to the shipping and handling.It is kind of expected due to the diameter that this rod has to be.I managed to work the bow out of the rod by rolling it on my leg.I may have bought a larger size than is needed for my .17HMR CZ-455 American.I wanted to make sure I had enough length to use with the The next size down probably would have sufficed.These Pro-Shot Rods are great. I own a few of these in various sizes and calibers.I also own Pro-Shot jags, brushes, grease, patches and cleaning kits. All are available here on amazon for a good price.I am very please with everything I have purchase from them so far.
