This is what you need when you are done cleaning the inside of your firearm. Prevents rust and removes handling smudges. Prett wet at first.

Pro Shot’s lead removal cloth is a big time saver when it comes to cleaning up my stainless steel revolvers. The days of struggling to use Hoppe’s #9 and a brush to try and clean lead fouling from the cylinder face and forcing cone are in the past. I’m impressed what 5-10 minutes with lead removal cloth can do to getting lead fouling off. I was really impressed with how it helped get the stubborn lead out of the forcing cone/barrel area on my “new-to-me” older S&W 625-4. I started with round patches cut from the Pro Shot sheet and a smaller jag (44 mag)...worked my way up to the larger (45 ACP) jag. The lead literally flaked off—lo and behold, the lands and groves look pristine. I think Birchwood Casey’s version works a tad better, but Pro Shot delivers significantly more cloth for the buck.
