Although it is marketed for people with diabetes, it worked fine with my condition. I had hip surgery from a motorcycle accident 5 months ago and am just learning how to walk again. This boot was very comfortable to wear compared to standard boot they give at the hospital.The air pump was ok didn’t really see too much difference even though i pumped the hell outta it, only issue i really had was that the front part kept rubbing on my shins so kinda had to make it even more loose, but its not the boots mistake i suppose.Putting on and removing is not hard and i like how durable it really is, its good in my opinion for drop foot as the soles are sensitive and needs to be flat so there is no dragging.Overall i think this is a good shoe considering the price. You can tell they put alot of effort into the design, durability, and usability if the boot.

I really like this boot as far as ease of putting on and use. I love that it’s lower and the air pump is on the side. Now that I have been cleared to start PT, my therapist does not really like that the bottom is flat. As I am relearning to walk I need a curved bottom. Other than that it is a great boot, just needs a curved bottom.

Every physical and occupational therapist who has looked at this boot is impressed with the design, support, and ease of consistently putting it on correctly. It is more adjustable and customizable than most protective boots and air casts.Now for the not as good: It is quite heavy. The sizing is still limited to the typical S/M/L that plagues medical braces.Now the ugly: Most insurance companies will not pay for the brace even if your doctor writes a prescription for it. This will come out of pocket but it is a medical expense on your taxes if you itemize. It also qualifies for FSA and HSA plans.If you have the money, I highly recommend it.
