Between my work and my home, I have used many different keyboards over the years, and this is certainly one of my favorites. Although I just started using it, I can tell I'm going to like it for the long term. The feel of the keys is good, second only to my Logitech MX Keys, with springy travel, and although not clicky, you can tell when you have completed the key press. It is fairly quiet as well. If you work in an office I don't think you will disturb your office mates. The ergonomic shape of it takes some getting used to, but if you are a touch typist, you should get used to it very quickly, and one can tell that it would make things easier on your wrists and perhaps even reduce the likelihood of repetitive motion injuries. The keyboard lighting is excellent, although it is only white; I've never been one to necessarily need RGB. A very brief but nice instruction booklet is included, the packaging is impeccable, and there was obviously much thought that was put into that. It was reminiscent of opening an Apple product. I currently have the keyboard connected via the 2.4 GHz USB mini-dongle, but it can also connect via Bluetooth, with two channels so that it can communicate with two different devices. A nice little feature is the USB dongle has a place where it magnetically stores in the back of the keyboard, and a magnet appears plenty strong enough to hold the dongle intact. The wrist rest is comfortable and useful, again for ergonomics. It can't be removed, not that I think that you will want to. Illumination is nice, easy to control with a single key, and bright enough even on its lowest setting. I don't know how long the batteries will last on a charge, but I suspect that it will at least be on par with other wireless illuminated keyboards that I have had. There are also editing keys such as cut and paste, which will make any word processing a bit simpler and some nice shortcut keys such as a key to open the Windows settings, or to take a screen photo. Overall, a nice keyboard, seems to be built well and it appears that it will last for years. If anything changes I will certainly edit this review.

The first thing you notice when you get this keyboard is how well it is made. It comes in a slick box and is heavy, it weighs about double my old wireless keyboard - this is one well put together product! When you open the box, you immediately notice that a lot of thought went into even the packing of the product. The quick start guide is right up front - I followed the instructions and got mine set up in less than 5 minutes!Once I started using it, I noticed that the keys all felt solid. Keys are responsive and precise. Keys feel good even if you use the included silicone keyboard protector. The keyboard has a slight leaning curve as compared to a regular keyboard as the keys are split into a left and right side for ergonomics. I had never tried this layout before, but it is so intuitive that I was able to type at close my normal speed after 10 minutes. The wrist support padding on the keyboard does make a difference, it is much more comfortable to type using this board instead of my old standard one.The keyboard charges through USB and can connect with either bluetooth or an included USB plug. No issues setting it up. You will not regret getting this keyboard!

I've never used an ergonomic keyboard before, so I was hesitant to try this one, but I'm so glad I did!First, the quality is exceptional. The keyboard is heavy, and the keys all click smoothly and have great responsiveness. One of the best things about the keyboard is Bluetooth connectivity, which lets you connect it to more than one computer and toggle back and forth easily and quickly. I run two laptops, and it's so nice to just have one keyboard for both of them! The wrist support is also excellent, and while I've had to adapt to typing properly, which was a bit of a learning curve because I'm more of a hunt and peck style typer, it was a change for the better!Immensely pleased with this keyboard!

Yes, I am a Reviewer. And not everything gets 5 stars, etc.I just started a full-time gig at home and saw this keyboard. The only CON for me was the layout being ergonomic. I have used ergonomic ones in the past, but never really felt it was an advantage.However...This keyboard? It's a WOW factor. In my office, I have an amazing keyboard. In my office, I took this one for a spin. Results?Amazing! My trusted keyboard (that had been part of me 'she-geekdom' for years) has been replaced.PROS:- wireless- battery longevity (so far)- super comfortable- sleek designBUT what became a cool discovery for myself. I have a disability with my hand. Bad days, it hurts to use, for even simple tasks...The 'unboxing' - which was an 'oooh and ahhh' moment, in itself. My hand was having a pain-day.It took me a bit to acclimate to an ergonomic keyboard layout. Once I did? With the wristband cushioning and molding of the keyboard (it is a wave, as opposed to a curve). Acted almost therapeutic.Instruction manual and cheat card, well thought out.The design of the unit- four feet (2 on top, 2 on the bottom) I have never seen before.- there is a spot under the keyboard, to hold the USB dongle.... magnetic- it comes with a silicone dust cover that does not impede the use of the keyboard, especially with backlighting- those who like mechanical keyboards or weighted keys... even though the keys are low profile, it has a good weight. (I don't know how to describe this without going techie)If I could rate higher than 10/10? I would.

This ergonomic keyboard is comfortable to type on, and it’s great for a workspace setup. The split design feels natural, not too bent in, so there isn’t any of the awkwardness I was expecting. I didn’t even experience the adjustment period I was expecting. I find that it does help reduce strain on my wrists, especially during long typing sessions. The cushioned wrist rest is really comfortable and adds nice support. Its soft and not too high, plus the material doesn’t keep heat. The keyboard feels sturdy, and the keys are quite shallow with a responsive click without being too loud. The backlighting is a great touch, with adjustable brightness that makes it easy to type in lower lighting. Its only in white, no RGB options. The keys are opaque, so the back lighting only outlines the keys and doesn’t shine through them. Connecting it was simple. I tried both the Bluetooth and USB receiver, and both worked smoothly without any lag. It switches between devices easily, which is super convenient when I’m jumping between my laptop and tablet. I also like that it's USB-C rechargeable, so I don’t have to deal with changing batteries. The charge lasts a very long time, even with the backlight constantly on. I’ve used it for over a month now, and the keyboard still hasn’t needed a second charge. I think part of the reason for that is the sleep mode, which automatically activates if you don’t touch it for an hour. Its easy to reactivate too, just press a key. There is a charging indicator light as well, which is nice to have. It works well with Windows and Android, haven’t tried it with Mac. I’m really happy with this keyboard, but its not for gamers. I recommend it for workplace setups.

The keyboard is to help eliminate some of the clutter on my desk, one less cord to manage. It's a reasonable compromise from my MS Natural Elite keyboard. Unfortunately, those aren't made anymore. This keyboard would be ideal if it incorporated a more pronounced wave from left to right (with the crest centered where the keys are split). The connectivity is simple. I already have a couple of bluetooth connections to my laptop, so I opted to use the included wireless dongle, I have plenty of USB ports in the docking station. So far, it's been very good. I just have to get used to the new layout of the keys. The manual states the battery should last for a year on standby. I don't know how long it'll last with daily use (I've only been using it for a few days now).

At the time of this review, the ergonomic EK01 Plus keyboard from ProtoArc was priced just under $90. In my opinion, it is the best model they offer. The build quality and plastics used are durable, and this version from their ergonomic keyboard line includes keyboard backlighting with full shine through keycaps, which is missing from most of their other offerings. Also in the box was a silicone keyboard membrane if you want to protect it from liquids. The included 2.4 GHz USB receiver or Bluetooth allows connection to your PC or Mac; you can sync three devices conveniently. The keyboard has a fairly large footprint, in part to a non-removable integrated curved wristrest with memory foam and a synthetic leather texture. It is very comfortable to use once you adjust to the subtle curved and split keyframe design. In my opinion, the scooped design of the keycaps gives it a tactile feel. The key switches are also relatively quiet when used. This isn't a mechanical keyboard, so if your goal is a quiet typing experience - you've found a great option. While the extended keyboard design with the keypad takes up more desk workspace, the more natural position of my wrists, forearms and hands made for a very comfortable typing experience. I also appreciated the design choice to place the circular media controls in the curved/split area of the keyboard. I expect the built-in 2000mAh rechargeable battery will provide ample power for likely a week plus with backlighting on, however I haven't tested it long enough to verify battery life. Charging is via the included USB-A to USB-C cable.I believe this keyboard is good value given the ergonomic design, performance, feature set and perceived health benefits. A recommended buy if you've been considering an ergonomic-styled keyboard and mouse for your PC/Mac workspace.

After switching to a mechanical keyboard a while ago, which I love (and is also made by ProtoArc) I was wanting to go back to membrane on and off as sometimes the mechanical can be a little TOO noisy even for me. I used an ergo, split keyboard like this back in the 90s when it first came on the scene because I used Windows then...but I switched to Mac in the late 90s and never looked back...so I was waiting for someone to make not just a good but a GREAT ergo keyboard before trying to use one again. And finally, here it is! :) I've been using pretty much exclusively ProtoArc products (keyboard, trackpad, trackball, portable keyboard, etc) I knew this would be a great experience and I was not at all disappointed. Just like anything else they make, this keyboard is utterly fantastic. Here's why:1. It comes packaged beautifully...looking like it just stepped out of the Apple store or a similar place - very high end box and a fun unboxing experience. This doesn't seem like it would matter but if you are giving this as a gift, it makes a great impression right out of the gate. And if you bought this for yourself, then it sets the stage for something great being inside. It does not disappoint in any way here.2. It is ridiculously easy to set up. If you know what you are doing, maybe 2-3 minutes between taking it out of the box and getting it to work with your computer. And if you don't know what you are doing, no worries - there are excellent instructions included.3. Using this keyboard feels like a premium experience. It looks fantastic on your desk...the built in wrist rest is awesome (and eliminates the need for yet another thing on your desk).4. It's incredibly comfortable to use and feels "natural". This is the point of having such a keyboard, of course...but this one does this SO well, truly. It's a joy to type and believe me I don't really say that often LOL.5. Note that if you have never used one of these keyboards before, there might be a slight learning curve for your muscle memory. This is perfectly normal - it happens to everyone including me who has had extensive experience with keyboards like this before. Stick with it. It won't take long for you to get used to the hand positioning and it will be WELL worth it, trust me.6. For a membrane keyboard, this is incredibly responsive and FAST. It really keeps up well even if you are a blazing fast typist. I will admit that I use a mechanical keyboard not just because I enjoy the clacking of the keys but because it's is tactile and responsive in ways that most membrane keyboards cannot mimic. That said, this one somehow does this fairly key for key. That is pretty incredible...and I couldn't be happier about this.7. The backlighting is great! I won't use a keyboard that doesn't have this because it's a small thing but it's one that I really enjoy having. Not all keyboards do this well either, but this one definitely does.8. The battery life is excellent and very long lasting. It's super easy to charge and you don't have to do it often.9. Underrated feature: It's full size and includes the number pad. People who want to use these tiny keyed, chiclet style keyboards: Why?? LOL. Not only is it not comfortable and makes your hands crunch together, which WILL give you problems later on (take it from a person in their 50s who has been using computers daily since the 1980s...). I know small keyboards are more "aesthetic" but that really doesn't matter when you are down with shoulder pain and wrist pain that keeps you up at night. The number keypad is one that people can take or leave these days but I personally like it, so it's a plus. Your mileage may vary, of course.10. The wrist rest is very comfortable and you can adjust/tilt it as needed. This may seem small but it really is a great feature that helps alleviate wrist pain and fatigue after long sessions at the desk. This keyboard is absolutely a home run of a product. It works great, it FEELS great to use, and it's a solid item that no doubt will last you for a long time. This makes it well worth the price in my opinion. It's actually comparable or slightly cheaper than other professional grade keyboards of this caliber. I highly recommend this, especially if you are having issues with arms/wrists having pain from lots of typing. This is the perfect keyboard for that - or really for anyone. I am thrilled with it and have no doubt you will be, too. I would rate it 5,000 stars if I could!!

I've been using an ergonomic keyboard for 25 years. I've had Microsoft, Logitech, and others. The feel of the key stroke, the wrist pad height, and the key layout is perfect. Hopefully this keyboard goes the distance for me. I like the back lit keys and Bluetooth connectivity but these weren't requirements.
