If I wanted to buy a hoist assemble and wire it myself, I would have bought the same Chinese hoist in individual components for a 1/4 of the price

If you buy this unit right out the box and it works good for you. I purchased a unit set it up per the instructions. It did not work contact seller seller gave me a new video of how to reset the remote it did not work. Seller stated they were send a new remote waited two weeks Seller again they would send it out which they finally did got the new remote still does not work contacted seller again have left several messages to no avail. It’s past the return authorization date because I waited on the seller. I’m now stuck with a product that does not work if you can find a product somewhere else , I would get it. I would not get it from this company as I have spent several hours as well as buying the product to avail.

This electric Prowinch and Trolly are well worth the investment, for a 1-man small steel fabrication shop. The remote control is an added benefit. Even with the limited floor space in my shop the prowinch works just perfect for lifting projects like this Fire Pit (weight 475 lbs.) from the floor to the worktable. For the crane rail I used a 6x12.5# beam and two 3x3x.120 sq columns. The beam is also anchored to the ceiling joist for lateral movement and the columns have base plates anchored to the concrete floor.

Save a hundred bucks and buy direct from Prowinch.com. I bought this last week from them and it works exactly as I hoped. I had bought another brand here and managed to get it installed on my iBeam with a manual trolley but it was a pain and hard to move. I had wanted this one and even had it back ordered for 2 months from Prowinch and they charged me at my initial purchase then sat on my funds until I cancelled the order. Still, once they finally had them in stock when I checked last week I ordered it from them again, and they shipped from Florida the same day. Arrived here in Washington state on Wednesday the following week with free shipping via FedEx and I removed the other hoist to replace with this one.Came in 2 boxes and it's about 100 pounds so hopefully you're a strong person like me or you have help to get it installed. Don't forget the locktite!! Works great so far and the wireless remote is so much better than a wired one as I can use it from the bottom floor of my shop or when I'm up in the loft and no cords hanging in the way.
