Product Description

Proxicast High Gain 10 dBi Wide-Band 4G/LTE, 5G, WiFi Antenna

Proxicast's small, light-weight, easy-to-install permanent mount omni-directional antenna improves transmit and receive signals for all 4G/LTE and 5G Sub-6 frequencies on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Bell, Rogers, Telus, Telcel, Movistar, Digicel and many other cellular operators worldwide.

This antenna also supports both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz WiFi frequency bands.

The omni-directional design provides high gain without the cellular tower location and alignment hassles of directional antennas. Its powerful high efficiency radiating elements maximize the energy output of your radio device.

With its compact size, white finish and all stainless hardware, it is ideal for outdoor applications including rooftops, utility poles, surveillance trailers, well sites, meters, homes and offices.

With the appropriate adapter cable (not included), this antenna is compatible with USB cellular modems and Mi-Fi Hotspots, external 4G/5G cellular modems, routers and signal amplifiers from companies such as CalAmp, Cisco, Cradlepoint, Digi, MoFi, Netgear, Novatel, Pepwave, Proxicast, Sierra Wireless, SureCall, weBoost/Wilson and ZTE.

Requires a direct wired connection to an existing modem, router, amplifier/booster. WILL NOT boost reception of cell phones – they require a powered booster/amplifier.

You May Also Need

Coax Cable

Coax is Critical

The wrong cabling can wipe out antenna gain. Use only low-loss 50 Ohm coax designed for high frequency applications like our ANT-140-020 series available in multiple pre-made lengths.

Silicone Weather-sealing Tape

Water is the Enemy

If moisture gets into the cabling it can create intermittent shorts and permanent damage. Seal all outdoor connections with our ANT-900-002 Pro-Grade Coax Silicone Sealing Tape.

Lightning Arrester

Protect Yourself

Outdoor antennas should include inline lightning arresters to protect equipment and structures. Our ANT-21x-002 series gas discharge lightning arresters protect against strikes up to 10 kA.

ANT-800-XB1

Cross-Over Plate for MIMO

Our ANT-800-XB1 X-Boom bracket lets you mount a horizontal cross mast to the vertical mast to provide more room for additional antennas or to mount 2 antennas at the same height for MIMO applications.

ANT-800-JP3 Mounting Bracket

Universal J-Mount Bracket

Proxicast’s Pro-Grade J-Max is a heavy-duty adjustable stand-off antenna mast for convenient and flexible mounting of any sort of antenna. Available in rust-proof solid Aluminum or Stainless Steel, J-Max mounts have unmatched strength and durability.

BRK-114-FF

Marine Mount Adapter

Stainless Steel 1"-14 tpi Female to Female ferrule coupler with N-Female adapter ring lets you mount any N-Female antenna to a standard marine mount male base.

Pro Installation Tips

For Best Results

  • Orient antenna vertically
  • Mount antenna as high as possible
  • Keep coax leads as short as possible
  • Don't use 75 Ohm coax (RG6, RG59)
  • Don't use a splitter to connect 2 modem ports to one antenna
  • Fully tighten coax connectors to antenna connectors
  • Position away from other antennas, lighting fixtures, motors, Low-E or tinted/coated windows, large metal or concrete objects
  • Stand 3+ feet away from antenna when testing
  • Maximize signal Quality (SINR, RSRQ) not signal Strength (RSSI, RSRP, bars)

I installed the antenna for use with a T-Mobile Wireless router. The router has a setting for switching to an external antenna, which I did, but the signal didn't improve at all.

Bought two of these to replace my directional Proxicast antennae, due to not having line-of-sight to the tower (I'm not interested in building a 50 ft mast). Performance is better than ever! Installation could not have been any easier.Don't bother with these reviews complaining about the "actual" gain values. Anyone complaining about this is missing the point. You definitely get what you pay for. Real-world experience is flawless. I work from home and these are more than reliable enough for telecommuting.Proxicast has been and will continue being my go-to. Their products are excellent quality at a fair price. If you need LTE connectivity, look no further!

My first try was the MIMO 4G/5G Log Periodic Antenna Kit by Waveform, but the mounting an cable runs make this antenna almost impossible to install for the average home user. Next I tried the SureCall Fusion4Home Cell Phone Signal Booster With Poor results. Again a lot of wires, cables etc. to get it in place and setup. Then the SureCall FlareDB+ Cell Signal Booster 5G/4G LTE, Yagi Outdoor Antenna. Again lots of cables with poor results. And lastly I tried the Bolton Technical Crossbow 5G Directional X-Polarised 2X2 MIMO Antenna, High Gain; 617-3800 MHz. Highly directional and need line of site. Proved to bulky for the physical area I needed to mount and run the dual cables. So I now have the Proxicast High Gain 10 dBi Universal Wide-Band 4G/LTE, 5G , Has tripled my down load speeds, was easy to mount, a single cable to my T-Mobile Gateway. The only draw back is you need to order separate cable to attach you device.

I'm in a unique situation, in that our house is behind a hill to the nearest cell tower. When I mounted this on the apex of our roof, it was just enough to get a direct line of sight to the cell tower. The result was a jump huge from 2 bars to 5 bars on the Netgear Nighthawk 1100 mobile hotspot router and an increase of 10-20 db in signal. I'm finally testing at 25mb download and 10mb upload speeds. So I can't really comment on if this is a result of the quality of the unit versus other brands. Any brand may have had these results in this case. The installation was very simple, it's just that I hate ladders. Keep in mind you will need the special 50 ohm coaxial cable. It's a whopping 3/8" thick and the connectors at either end are 3/4" wide. That means you need to drill a huge hole in the side of your house to get it in. And you will also need the pigtail splitter-adapter to convert the single coax cable to two for the Nighthawk if you are using that one.The unit is well made. Seems weather resistant enough and has a profile that should be OK in high winds. The connections are secure. I didn't need to use their tech support, so I can't comment on that.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for use with our RV. I have a Cradlepoint edge router, and this will enable me to have a better cellular data signal on the road. I also purchased a directional version of this antenna, and I'll report back on both when we get to test them out in the middle of nowhere(ish).
