If you have the room go for it. I do not and im only partially using it. Lights up cool looking, and does charge the hand pads. Honestly I keep looking for a lower version to keep everything together and charge up the controllers.

I wanted to wait just a bit before posting my review to see if I had some of the issues others seem to have, and I'm happy to say, it works! This is a basic stand and doesn't really have anything that makes it stand out from the others. But that's okay, because it does what it's supposed to. It's made of a hard plastic and has a gloss finish. The stand holds the headset well and I don't worry about it falling at all(side note-it might not be as stable if you have kids that bonk around). The base cradles both controllers securely and the magnetic absorption is neat and holds well too. It comes with a USB c adapter to plug in to your control so that it's compatible. I haven't had any issue with charging and typically unplug it when not needed. All the lights are just a gimmic and I like them off rather than the rainbow colors flashing, but you have the option. The base shows charge level and like I say, I haven't ran into the base saying the controllers are charged and them not being. Its close enough price wise with most everything else, but it's only a deal if you catch it on sale. Comes with everything advertised.

This charging station, though generic, s a no-nonsense solution for keeping your VR headset charged and securely stored. While the packaging and presentation are on the simpler side, this charging station delivers on its primary promises.First impressions might leave you underwhelmed, as the box is quite generic and lacks the flashy aesthetics often associated with tech accessories. Additionally, I encountered a minor hiccup as the package did not include any instructions. This could be a packaging or manufacturing oversight, but on the bright side, assembling the charging station proved to be a straightforward task. The design is intuitive, and it quickly came together without the need for explicit guidance.Once assembled, the charging station serves its purpose admirably. The absence of frills is compensated by its functional efficiency. The dock securely holds the PS VR2 headset, providing a stable and safe charging platform. This is particularly reassuring for those who have experienced the frustration of a headset slipping or falling when relying on less secure charging solutions. One of the standout features is the peace of mind it offers. With this charging station, concerns about the VR headset easily toppling over or sustaining damage during charging are alleviated. The snug fit ensures that the headset stays in place, and the charging process is reliable. In conclusion, the PS VR2 Charging Station Charger Dock may lack the glamour of more elaborately packaged accessories, and the absence of instructions is a minor inconvenience. However, its simplicity is offset by its reliability in securely holding and charging the PS VR2 headset. If you're in search of a fuss-free solution that does precisely what it promises without breaking the bank, this charging station might be the practical choice you're looking for.

We used a different charging station for the controllers before buying this one, and we constantly had issues with the magnetic connectors staying in the controller as you try to set them into the cradle to charge. It was so frustrating that we stopped using it and just connected it to a Type C cord on a table. With this docking station, the connectors stay snug in the controllers and it is so much easier to place them in the cradle securely. And actually having a place to hold the headset is also a big upgrade from the old docking station we had which was only for the controllers. The headset stand was easy to snap into place and the whole docking station feels stable, not top heavy. I really like how this has 3 slots on top to store the connectors (it comes with an extra in case one gets lost) if you don't want to keep the controllers connected after they are charged while in the cradle. I did not really care about having the lights under the stand though they look cool. I know those lights are popular with gamer setups. I do appreciate that these lights can be turned off. The docking station appears to be quality and hits all marks that we were looking for that our last docking station failed. I'll update my review if we have any charging issues down the road, but in the meantime, I would recommend this charging station.
