This product seems like a good idea as I hate heating my brake hose slapping along inside my frame. The problem is there is no way to get it inside the frame. The holes aren’t big enough for it to fit inside. What about the panel under the bottom bracket? Well that panel only provides access to the shifting cables, which are usually held at tension and pass through the frame without the housing. This will only work on a bike that you have access to the brake hoses through the bottom bracket hole, which my bike does not.

I like that this cable damper foam is so lightweight, but it reminds me of some foam that's available from the big box hardware stores.I only have one other type cable damper foam to compare this stuff to, and this stuff is definitely more lightweight, but it almost feels like it's not as durable on the outside of the foam, so only time will tell how long this stuff lasts before falling apart inside my bike frame.The other stuff that I compared this foam to has a more durable finish on the outside, so it makes me feel like this stuff won't hold up, but that might not be an issue since my bikes stay in my garage until it's time to use them.Overall, I would still recommend this cable damper foam since it's so lightweight, just be aware that "lightweight" doesn't always translate to "durable".
