No longer a need for NOS tubes.

I've used tube and hybrid gear for 25 years. I've used almost every popular tube type for audio gear and I've never encountered a current production tube that could rival the tone of a good NOS tube. That has changed with PSVAYNE, not only the Horizon, but also the red print hifi series. Like most tubes, they need a good run time before the final tone is revealed. I can't write a book, but I think of a good Amperex crossed with the midrange of a CV4003.

Currently restoring a 90's tube amp which uses 5751, 6FQ7 and 6550 tubes. Swapped the 5751 with the PSVANE Horizon 12AT7 and they sound great out of the box.
