the plastic around the switch in our jeep cracked.. ordering this one allowed me to fully solve the problem by using the plastics on it.however, I had brake light issues when i used the entire unit.So, if all you have to do is replace the broken plastic around your existing switch, this is perfect.

I was a little worried about buying it online but it fit great and was easy to install. I took off one star cause it's about $1 or so cheaper at AutoZone/O'Reilly's.

So far so good! No tools needed to replace it. It’s right above the brake pedal. All you have to do is unplug the old switch and plug the new switch. And make sure it’s in there securely.
