This is a handsome checkbook cover. I didn't think I'd need to pick one up, but apparently the check printers don't include the basic checkbook covers anymore even if you order a box of checks. The cover design is of patriotic - the flag and the bald eagle. Great colors and design. Makes me proud to have it as a cover for my book of checks. No issues with the fit, and there are several other pockets for cards, pen, etc.Durable and a good way for me to protect my checks, as well as be able to spot them easily on my work desk.

This is a nice checkbook cover that is also able to hold a few cards like debit and insurance cards. The design on the front cover is very nice as well.

This is a reasonable faux leather wallet and check holder. It's important to double-check the size before buying. It appears to be too bulky to put in your pocket if you add the checkbook and cash and cards, but it should be okay if you carry a purse. Otherwise, it's a nice piece with many useful features. If you are not concerned about the size and you don't carry more than three cards - it will serve the purpose of keeping things together on the go.

So, the description says compact and light weight.......well....not in my opinion. The dimensions are given in the description, but I didn't pay close enough attention. This is more wallet than regular checkbook holder. Even with the larger size, it still doesn't fit both the check and the check register, which is a design flaw for me. I like to note every check I write as they go out. I need the register to do that. As you can see in the photo, if you put both in this wallet, they are too thick and it doesn't close properly. The pen holder on the outside causes the pen to move around and sometimes just pop out in my purse. I do like the RFID option and the graphics are wonderful. I used the elastic band and kept it closed for about 3 weeks and it helped keep it closed tighter. Overall though I still think it is way bigger than I needed for just a check book cover.

So, right off the start, the headline reads "leather." This is textured polyurethane plastic, not leather—and that's misleading, in my opinion. In the description is does state "waterproof PU material" which does at least clear it up, but this still comes up when you're specifically looking for leather.Design wise - it's very basic, the parts are stitched together, with slots cut into the material for cards, and the cards don't get lost in the slots, making them easy to pull out. For those of us that still use checks, the check holder fits a standard sized checkbook and provides a firm writing surface. It lacks the insert for duplicate checkbooks to prevent writing through onto the next check's records, which seems like a pretty basic design fail. The cover closes with an elastic strap, which is fine, but could catch on other items in your bag. The pen holder is a simple elastic loop on the outer edge of the cover. I've found this design to be less than secure, as it neither protects your pen from damage from other items, nor does it prevent your other items from accidentally being marked up. There's room inside the binding edge to put a pen inside, and they should have included the pen holder there. The graphics are sharp, clear and pretty much what you see in the listing for the item. I needed something to keep my checks and less-used cards in my desk drawer for use with my business (yeah - I still have to write checks) so this is adequate for that purpose. I did test the "RFID protection" with an NFC digital business card that I use with work, and it seems to block the signal, but this technology is designed to be very close to the reader in order to work, so I can't tell if it will be effective with other types of RFID cards. All in all - it's okay, and works for what I need, but the headline is misleading and I don't believe it to be a good value overall.
