I bought this shield based on other reviews. I’m 6’0 and have a cross country seat which raises me up slightly more. The wind deflected up is all into my helmet and the noise is almost unbearable even with earplugs in. I tried 2 style earplugs, even the range plugs but still very very noisy.This shield is a good idea for someone sitting much lower in the bike, or if you are planning to never take the bike on the highway.It does a good job deflecting wind away from my body though.

It's easy to put on and looks great on the bike. Works great for keeping wind off the face. Not much left to say, it does what I baught it to do.

This shield does exactly what I was hoping it would do. It drastically reduces the amount of wind blast to the chest and upper body making speeds above 50 mph much more manageable and comfortable. I think it looks terrific too. There are multiple windshields available and this is one of the most economical options. So this is a “permanent” mount shield meaning there is not way to quickly detach it. It is bolted on. Personally I think the bike looks better with it on anyway.Mounting instruction were not great although it is not difficult to figure out. It does require patience and on my bike I had to disassemble more of the bike than what it show in the instruction to gain access to the factory hardware for the upper bracket mounts (I have the BMW beach bars installed). Just no clearance for a wrench or even a socket and swivel extension without the headlight getting in the way. Maybe you’ll have a different experience but I didn’t want to risk scratching anything.I am 6’3” and see well over the top of this shield. In this dark smoke color you can not see through any portion of the windscreen. Just mentioning it for anyone who knows that is a deal breaker. Does not bother me one bit and I was really hoping this would be closer to black than dark smoke. It is very dark indeed. Might as well be black. Just so you know what you’re getting.Overall very satisfied with my purchase for the amount spent. Have had other Puig products on other bikes that I have been happy with. No disappointments with this product.
