As other kits I've received on amazon, it has most of the supplies needed but it lacks good instruction. I just watched some youtube videos to figure it out. You will need a glue gun to secure the backing to the coaster after its completed.

The kit itself is fine, but the instructions are majorly lacking.I've never done punch needle embroidery before, and was excited to learn how with this kit. Unfortunately, the instructions explain very little - they don't even tell you how to thread the needle in the kit. I wound up having to watch a video online to figure out what I was doing.As well, there's no explanation of what the items in the kit are for, no instructions for putting the fabric in the embroidery hoop, and I think there's three sticks for a hot glue gun? It's confusing.Once I watched the tutorial I was able to use the tools to make the duck without issue. It doesn't look great, but it's my first try so I'm not surprised at that - that's not the kit's fault.This would be so much better if there were better instructions included. Putting them in the listing here doesn't help if this is a gift!
