Kidz Rocks sources these pure copper nuggets from a supplier that mines them from the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. Our supplier custom makes these for us without the clear spray paint coating. Virtually all other copper nuggets sold are coated with a clear coating to prevent them from tarnishing green over time as natural copper does. Who wants clear plastic spray paint on their prized mineral specimens? Not me! Only the best products for our customers!
A few times a year just use a little copper cleaner to remove the green oxidation or apply your own clear spray coating if desired.
These are perfect for wire wrap or other jewelry craft projects.
You will receive one Copper Nugget from the lot shown in the photos and video that is 2 inch to 2 1/2 inch and weighs 2 to 4 ounce.
