Your cart is empty.PureGuardian® FLTDC20 humidifier Demineralization Filter, Cartridge #2, is easy to use. It helps to prevent the release of minerals (white dust) into the air. It simply screws into the humidifier tank and will last approximately 700 hours. This all depends on the condition of the water you are using in the humidifier as well as run speed. It is still recommended to clean your humidifier accordingly, based on the Manufacturer's Instructions.

Prior to getting this filter we had fine white dust everywhere in our house, including a white film on the windows. Then we decided to try this filter for our humidifier, and it has helped, but we still have a thinner coat of dust on the furniture and tile floors, and a thinner film on all the windows. Can’t wait until we don’t need a humidifier anymore!

Awesome filters, we get our water from the mighty Bow River and water is hard enough to walk on! Soon as we notice a fine dust film on lower cabinets it’s time to change. Now with auto re-ordering we don’t have to wait for this to happen. Buy buy buy Dust!😂

The cartridge seems to be working good considering that I am using tap water that has so many minerals that it leaves deposits that look like sidewalk salt on drinking glasses and such. The humidifier (we have the H1250) was used constantly all winter with no problem. But I am planning to get a new cartridge for this winter.

Although there are other reviews that are not totally happy with this product - I am, TOTALLY happy with it. My furniture are all covered in professionally covered plastic - due to the fact that I have 3 feral cats, who I cannot trust not to pee or tear apart my upholstered furniture. I have found this product to be VERY effective in almost elimination the dreaded WHITE dust. Keep in mind, you cannot expect this product to work efficiently in a very large room. My room with the humidifier using this product is 15 long by 12 and 15 wide depending on whether you're measuring the room from the open concept dinning room or not. - I highly recommend this product. A TIP that I received from the makers of the humidifier: run the FLTDC20 under warm water before installing it in your humidifier. Works wonders!

This is a good product if you have hard water. It lasts for a year if you don't refill your humidifier every night. I did take a star off simply because there's still white powder in my daughter's room. I didn't have any trouble installing it and it does last for a very long time.

I think it doesn't the filter doesn't last very long. Our city water is very hard and the humidifier coats the whole office with white crystal stuff. I was hoping that this filter would last, but no my office is full of that white stuff again. It even goes all the way into to the copy machine, you can pull out a cartridge and even that has the white crystals on it.
