I love the breeze system. The pads last a week for my kitty. Toss them in the trash, wipe down the tray and the litter tray once a week, full clean once a month. No smell. My cat was an indoor/outdoor (he adopted us). He would outside. He was in a fight that required surgery so no more outdoor kitty. He doesn't like to poop in the box and goes in my shower. Easy to clean that.

They are easy to clean, very effective and when changing them, they are light to carry. However, the only thing I can find wrong is when they are scattered around and you accidentally step on them, they hurt to step on. My husband told me the only way to solve that problem …. wear shoes!!

This is a super clean litter box system. Instead of normal clay or shell-based litter, it uses ceramic pellets and a disposable potty pad in the bottom tray. The way it works is the urine runs through the pellets and is gathered in the potty pad, and the cats cover the solid waste, which stays on top, with the pellets. While this system may mean a tiny bit more smell because the feces may not be covered all the way, the urine smell is contained quite well in the lower tray. You don't want to let that go too long between changing though, as the smell builds up. I usually swap the potty pads out once a week with 2 cats using it, and check the upper tray every day, putting those ceramic-covered "deposits" in a Ziploc or glad freezer bag which contains the smell well until garbage day.The only drawback may be some animals may not be crazy about the feel of the pellets under their feet. I have 1 cat that refuses to use it for that reason, but he's a sensitive soul. My persnickety female loves it, my athletic boy does his #1 in here, and his #2 in the shell-based litter box next to it.The pellets last a long time and don't hold smell, so need to be refilled periodically when their supply has diminished from the #2s, but the refills are easy to find on Amazon, and comparably priced to the big box stores that carry this product. The potty pads are also available on Amazon.

breeze system is best little system ever! really reduces the smell of the box because the liquid goes straight through the pellets and is absorbed by the pad below. The poop is easily scooped off the top of the pellets and there is no dust storm when you change the pellets, like when using clay. At first I thought it was more expensive to use this system, but when I realized I typically get about 3wks - 1 month of use out of one 7 lb bag of pellets and the pads last approximately 3-4 days with two big cats, it really is a good savings over the clay brands, especially when bought in larger quantities on Amazon. The prices here are the best I have found, much better than online pet supply stores or at Walmart.

Just spin the tray at midweek to balance the wet areas...takes ten seconds. Also...I baited my finicky full tuxedo female into loving it by putting the Breeze system together (admit I used a bag and one half of pellets...she digs DEEP) and placing it right next to her high end clumping litter box on a Saturday morning...I did NOT add any poo whatsoever giving her the freedom to explore the pelleted green invader all week at her leisure...I cleaned her box all weekend BUT on Monday morning suddenly stopped (resulting in loud complaints by Wednesday) and more importantly...leaving her with a MESS by the following weekend. After her usual Saturday morning treat of Fancy Feast (eats dry chicken as the first ingredient kibble) I simply slid the Breeze box over to the same position as her former box...picked up the old litter box and closed the bathroom door of our master bedroom(after leaving her a bowl of water on the counter). Checked every two hours and at had wet spot after 2 hours and fresh poo after 5...immediately cleaned the poo (takes 5 SECONDS...NOT minutes!) She likes it because it does NOT smell .I LOVE it because it takes second to clean. Check it twice a day....Even went back to top drawer clumping litter for a week long vacation and swapped boxes back the minute we returned and seamless transition. We would recommend to anyone who HATES cleaning cat boxes to go Breeze...Worth every penny! We now have no fear of smelling up our motorhome...
