It's plastic. I don't believe this will prove as durable as the listing touts. If you accidentally drop it or step on it before hanging it up, it's going to be cracked and useless. But it is strong. The picture displays this holding two straps of a handbag, but I have this now in my closet holding the top strap of two small empty backpacks. Would've been nicer had this been made to be adjustable, but for what it is, it's fine.

I use the clear one in my closet for my handbags, and they work like a charm. They’re perfect for rotating between 2-3 bags at a time, keeping them easily accessible and neatly stored. The clear hangers are just as strong as the black ones but have a more subtle, elegant look that blends seamlessly into my closet. The only minor drawback is that they don’t work as well with bags that have very thick or chunky straps, but for everything else, they’re perfect.

They're heavy-duty and I don't worry about the quality eventhough it's made of plastic.

The purse hanger is very convenient, as it can hold two bags at the same time and can rotate after being hung.

I'm a little disappointed with this organizer it does the job for the price point. I like that it can hold 2 purses and that the hangar part rotates. However, the hangar is made of cheap plastic and the silver coating on the hook part is already chipping. I don't think it would last very long, especially if the handbags are very heavy.
