**Review: Solar System Floor Puzzle - A Stellar Choice for Young Space Explorers**This Solar System Floor Puzzle is a fantastic educational toy for kids aged 4-8, particularly those with an interest in space and planets. The large, 70-piece jigsaw design makes it ideal for younger children, especially those aged 4-6, who are still developing their fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities.**What We Loved:*** **Engaging and Educational:** The puzzle provides a fun and interactive way for kids to learn about the solar system. The vibrant illustrations of the planets, along with potential for discussion about their names, characteristics, and order, make learning enjoyable and memorable.* **Large Pieces, Perfect for Little Hands:** The large, easy-to-grasp pieces are perfect for small hands and help to avoid frustration. This size also makes cleanup easier.* **Durable Construction:** The pieces seem to be made of sturdy cardboard, which is important for a puzzle that will likely be put together and taken apart repeatedly. This durability ensures that the puzzle will hold up to the wear and tear of young children.* **Fun Floor Design:** This is a great way to make learning fun! It turns the puzzle into an activity where kids can all participate while learning about the solar system.* **Great Birthday Gift:** This puzzle makes for a thoughtful and engaging birthday gift for boys and girls. It offers a screen-free alternative that encourages learning and imagination.**Potential Improvements:*** **Packaging:** Consider more appealing or space-themed packaging to further enhance the gift-giving experience.* **Educational Insert:** Including a small insert with fun facts about each planet would elevate the educational value of the puzzle even further. This could include information on size, composition, or unique features.**Overall:**This Solar System Floor Puzzle is a highly recommended educational toy for young children. Its engaging design, large pieces, and durable construction make it a winner for both kids and parents. This is a cute little puzzle of the solar system. I love that it’s round and the pieces are all sorts of different shapes, not just the typical puzzle piece shapes. The planets all have cute little faces and it’s exactly as pictured. It also comes with a poster of the same graphic, which the kids thought was cool. I do wish it was a little thicker, so the pieces stayed together better once they found the correct spot. Even on a hardwood floor, it was hard to keep the pieces together/in place; doing the outside frame pieces didn’t help much either. It’s a nice size, not too big, not too small.

Big pieces but not super thick so beware of rougher play, they may bend. Cute and very engaging. Comes with a big poster to use on the wall or as an example of the finished picture. Normal puzzle box, little ones may need help getting it open. Overall fun indoor activity with some educational content but not overly so.

As a mom of 4 boys, my boys have always loved a good Puzzles and I am all about education. As soon as I saw this puzzle I knew I had to get it. I was immediately drawn to the colorful puzzle and the adorable designs to teach my boys the planets. Before I could surprise my boys those sneaky boys found this puzzle I wanted to give them as a treat and I was so happy to see how quickly they put it together. My 7 year old who learned to read, was reading the planets to my 4 year old and I could see how invited they were to learn the planets and asked my husband and I so many questions. Once they were done, it was super easy to take it apart and place it in the box it came with. Based on my own experience I would say this makes it a wonderful birthday, holiday or a just because gift. With having 4 boys, we go to so many birthday parties and this would be my go to gift for either gender. It's not loud or obnoxious toy that would hurt the parents ears but instead a fun activity to do with yout child or let your child see their master skills with putting a puzzle together.

This puzzle is perfect for the little ones. I would say the useful age range is from ages 4-8. It would be challenging for the younger children and pretty easy for the older children. Beyond about 8 and I think they would not find this challenging enough to be interested. The Pros -1) Large pieces for small hands. Easy to handle and put together.2) The paper diagram that comes with the puzzle can be used as a floor or table template to build on making it easier for the younger children to match up the pieces to the puzzle.3) The solar system planets are well done and "fun" for the kids. If they are at all interested in space, they will enjoy putting this puzzle together. While the Earth's moon is included, the dwarf planet Pluto is not... I miss Pluto ;)4) Excellent quality product. All the pieces fit together well. Pieces were of a good thickness to hold up to multiple uses over time. The Cons -1) Does not come with any information about the solar system. That would be a nice educational addition for future versions. However, I will still rate this a 5-star product.Overall, this is a quality product that kids interested in puzzles and space will enjoy. For me, I think the sweet spot for age is 5-7. Younger children will need help, older ones may get bored quickly. I know my grandchildren will love this puzzle (5 and 7 yrs). I also believe this would be a benefit for 1st and 2nd grade classrooms. They might find this puzzle beneficial when studying our solar system.

Had a lot of fun putting the puzzle together with our grandkid (4). The shapes are not too crazy (for ma, lol)... the size of the pieces are good for him. He was able to figure out where the pieces go with the colors used. After we assembled, we got a lecture on the solar system from our 8 year old grandson, so that was a bonus! Cute puzzle, definitely can recommend!
