Don't not fit 2" pipe

I know this product isn't appropriate for plumbing (despite the allusions to such in the description), and I didn't buy it for plumbing... but I at least expected to fit 2" PVC pipe. It doesn't. Way oversized for 2" sched 40 pipe. Will not slip on securely, even with glue.

We just moved into our home and upon walking around our home we found a few open pipes (that shouldn't have been). I ordered these PVC caps to fix a few and they did the job perfectly. They are thick and sturdy and I am not concerned about it breaking down any time soon. It fit on our 2" pipe with no issues.
