  • Specifications: The motor speed controller has an input voltage range of 9V to 60V and can deliver an output current ranging from 0A to 20A. It is rated for continuous power output of up to 1200W
  • Application: The dc motor driver is suitable for brush motor speed regulation, and dimming regulation of lights in DC circuits. Note: The motor cannot be used in electric vehicles
  • Instruction: The Thick red wire for the positive terminal of the power supply, thick black wire for the negative terminal; thick blue wire for the positive terminal of the motor, and thick green wire for the negative terminal of the motor
  • Speed Controller: Our motor control board allows for speed regulation via a potentiometer and also supports adjustment for clockwise and counterclockwise rotation
  • PWM: The advantage of using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for dimming or speed control is that it enables the full utilization of the power supply's energy, resulting in highly efficient circuit performance

Using this for a powered beach cart project to control an electric motor for speed. Does exactly what it is intended to do.

I am Glad that I found the Affordable, Pre-Wired, YELUFT PWM DC Motor Controller. I am working with my Granddaughter on Her STEM Project, I wanted to Teach Her about the use of Driver Control Modules along with the Option to Manually Adjust and Regulate the Outputs of DC Motor with a Manual Switch & Mechanical Potentiometer. The YELUFT Speed Regulator Pulse Width Motor Driver is Fully Capable of Managing a Full 1200 Watts - Running Motors in the 6-60VDC Range. I was Quite Happy to see that the YELUFT Set Arrived Pre-Wired, Making it Very Easy to Show Her how to Setup & Use to the PWM, Switch, and Controller. The YELUFT Motor Controller and Accessories are Very Easy to Setup & Use, the Controller is Very Reliable, and the Instructions are Easy to Understand. I gave the YELUFT Set a Full Five Star Rating Across the Board. **In my Opinion this is a Nice "Add-On" Accessory to Several of the Basic STEM Electric Mechanical Sets that are Available Today, the YELUFT DC Controller Allows the User to use Larger & More Powerful DC Motors & Controllers in Their Projects.

I have run a 750 watt mobility scooter motor with this controller at both 24 volts and 48 volts. Reverse switch works well as dose the potentiometer. The only negative I've found is that you can not swap out the potentiometer for a typical ebike twist throttle or thumb throttle of the type used with hall sensor controllers. Many brushed motor controllers do allow for input from a hall type throttle but this one does not. It might work with a potentiometer twist throttle but those are hard to come by. If you can fashion a way to mechanically operate the potentiometer like a twist or thumb throttle this little controller would work well for smaller scale brushed motor electric carts and cycles.

This is a nice PWM module. I've bought some vehicle HVAC blowers to use around the house for air movement. This one does well with motor full speed load of around 7A @ 12V.The speed control pot operates smoothly and goes from no rotation (but I'm not sure what the output pulses look like as I didn't look at them on a scope) to full rotation. There is no audible whine, so the PWM frequency is above my 59 year old hearing level.

Construction and wiring could be improved.Power Wires are labeled 18 awg and is multistrand and is touch soldered to a dual polarity switch.Heat shrink on switch pulls off easily.Tested on a 10amp motor and pot resistor controls speed range from stop to full rpm.Cant say for sure but 20 amps thru this PWM wiring is may be pushing it for continuous use applications as the PWM wiring core is 1/3 diameter of a 10A motor's wire core...I cut out the switch and crimp soldered new connectors and for my application it works and I dont feel any heat buildup on any part of PWM running motor full RPM.

So, I wanted to see how this was constructed, so I took it apart. The PCB is professionally done, with full silkscreening of parts. The input capacitors are rated at 65V, the output at 25V.All the components are marked. The board is mounted in the case via some slide mounts on the case side. The case is an aluminum casting with screwed on sides.I did find one thing I did not like and that is the bottom of the board is VERY close to the bottom of the case.If you press on the case bottom, it can short out the board. I will easily solve this by putting in a thin piece of plastic for some insurance. You could also use electrical tape.Otherwise, it comes with nice silicone cased wires so they bend easily. You should always inspect these inexpensive chinese imports. While they are always a great value, sometimes you have to do a minor tweek to keep them safe and alive.

I got this to power a DC treadmill motor that I've repurposed. This module works great! If you are having grief, first check your power supply - if that isn't working, this module won't fix it.So my aha moment was to sub a battery for the supply and hey, it worked. Then I tested the 110v AC input power supply and it wasn't working. Once I replaced that, this was a smooth, wonderful choice. The only downside was that it didn't come with a knob, but I have plenty of those so it wasn't a big deal. The other thing I might change is the potentiometer to a higher quality multi-turn for more precision. But, this module works great.
