I have had great luck with this little fan. I insulated my stove so I can control it's temperature. When I camp, I can keep it no higher than 750 degrees. And I put the fan higher up on the chimney. I ended up using a smaller clamp since my chimney is the 2.76". But it works great. Keeping an eye on the temp and making sure to not overheat the fan is going to be the plan. I will experiment with different heights on the chimney this winter to see where I can get maximum usage out of it. Love it so far!

This fan was easy to install! And really distributes heat from stovepipe into room! Instead of all your woodstove heat going up chimney!

It certainly moves air but the CFM is a little low, the blades just don't seem to be efficient or equal in design to the rest of the unit. Like the fan was a left over or something from a previous or different model and they just used it on these. With that said it really does make a difference, is whisper quiet and does circulate some air, at least some of the heat is being caught before it goes up the chimney! I would buy it again without question. I plan to bend the blades slightly to increase output.

The fans are OK, smaller than the last stove fan I bought. But the pipe clamps are cheap and poorly made. They both came apart when trying to install and would not tighten once installed – causing a falling hazard.
