I had 2 racquets that badly needed replacement grips as the existing ones were rotten. I also had a new racquet but the grip was too slick. So I ordered. The python grips. At first glance I wasn’t sure I could get them on but with a little elbow grease, I successfully replaced all 3 grips. All the grips increased the stability and grip on my racquets

These are one of those items I didn’t know I needed until I tried someone else’s racquet that had it. Gives you a super secure grip that lasts longer than the std wrap kind.

I have been playing racquetball for 34 years! The 2 racquets I have now have needed some extra help at the handle! I sweat a great deal and wear a premier glove both for grip and help with slippage from sweat (even w additional sweat bands). I always wrapped my handles when needed. I decided to try this handle to slip on. I was pleasantly surprised by the easy directions and fit on my handle. On the court I found that it absorbed well both sweat and the shock absorption from the ball to racquet. My second racquet has the tape. After using both, I prefer this handle and will order again for my spare. This will give my racquet more longevity before racquet replacement. Highly recommend! 10/10.

I bought this protect to replace the tape on my racquetball racket. It is a little hard to put it on the racket, but I love it and ordered a second one for the other racket I have.

This is by far the best grip I have purchased. The grip wrap I used to buy sucked. But this grip is long lasting. IT IS difficult to put on the racquet, but once it's on....man it will last for a really long time (years). It was a little expensive for just a grip, but once I got in on my racquet I totally knew it was worth it. great buy, but follow instructions for install and be ready to grunt during the install.

This grip is awesome. I’ve always used the tape grips but they just shred apart. After my last tape grip lasting three weeks I went with the rubber grip and they have been super durable. I play with a glove so it’s hard to say if they have more or less grip, but at least for gloved play I never noticed any issues.InstallOk so I fought getting these because they looked so hard to instal. The reviews were awful and people whined about tearing the grip with pliers. The grip is not the issue, however the instructions are horrible so it’s more a company issue than a product issue. I found a video that I liked before I purchased and it worked beautifully. All three grips went on in 5 minutes and it was easier than tape.1) peel off the old grip and any glue or tape residue2) take off the wrist band3) put masking tape over the wrist band hole4) stretch out the top of the grip with your fingers so it’s slightly funnel shaped. This will make install much easier.5) coat the grip handle with gasket sealant. Lightly coat the inside of the grip as well. The sealant acts as a lubricant during install and a glue after it’s set. I used gasgacinch and it worked beautifully.6) slight the grip on starting at an angle and straightening the grip out after you get over the knob on the end.7) trim the end of the grip to the right length with a box cutter8) wipe any excess sealant off and peel off the tape9) re-tie your wrist strap, let the glue cure for a day and your good to go!

This was the third python grip that I have installed on my pickleball rackets. The first two I followed the pamphlet’s instructions and used WD-40. The installation was a nightmare. It took over 45 minutes and tremendous physical effort to install each grip. I actually returned one grip because I did not want to go through the agony of installing it. This last grip, I followed a YouTube tutorial’s recommendation and used a product called Gasketcinch A-440. The installation took a little over five minutes and was very easy. The instruction booklet that comes with the grip advises using contact cement, which the YouTube tutorial firmly recommends against. I would suggest the manufacturer remove the contact cement suggestion and put Gasketcinch in its place.

I installed this grip and won the next day against someone I'd never beaten. It must be the grip, not practice and hard work that results in victory. This rubber grip features parallel ridges that zigzag around the grip. No matter how the racquet is positioned in the hand there are ridges to counteract any potential twisting motion. Compared to the original E-Force wrap grip, the Python feels hard, no cushioning. That feel isn't bad, it is just different. After a few matches the grip feels totally natural.Grip installation is easy, just use a good rubber cement, gasket sealer, or double-sided masking tape with a lubricant. Python suggests WD-40 or hairspray as acceptable adhesive alternatives to install the grip. Don't! I tried both and naturally the grip slipped. Do the installation right the first time, remove the wrist lace, use rubber cement or gasket sealer, and save yourself the frustration of regripping. The grip is slightly longer than the racquet handle. Measure the grip length first and cut off the excess before installing. I cut off the bottom of the grip and it's concentric rings with ordinary scissors because my E-force racquet has a flared butt and the rings weren't necessary. Warm the grip slightly and stretch the neck of the grip to ease installation over the racquet butt. Coat the handle and inside of the grip with. Slide the grip on and position it as you like. Without the concentric rings I installed the grip upside down to give the bottom edge a nice finished look. Wrap the top of the grip with a layer of electrical tape. Let the cement dry overnight, cleanup the excess, reinstall the wrist lace, and you're finished.
