To provide additional protection Siemens offers circuit breakers to protect against severe electrical shock or electrocution, mitigate the risk of electrical fires and protect against damaging surges and Voltage spikes. Circuit breakers are intended for switching and protection of your home's wiring from high temperatures caused by excess current higher than the rating of the wire. While thermal-magnetic circuit breakers are the key element for overload and short-circuit protection of your electrical system, there are potentially dangerous conditions that do not involve over current. To ensure the warranty on a Siemens panel is not voided, the use of Siemens breakers is required. Siemens strongly recommends against the use of "used" breakers. The installation of used breakers in a Siemens panel will void the warranty on the panel. Siemens does not sell used breakers and has not approved any 3rd party sellers to do so.

Murray load center parts are harder to find now it's phased out. The good news is Siemens sells direct replacement parts. Siemens Q line is equivalent to the Murray MP line.An Internet search yields Siemens and Murray used to cross-certify their products. Also the local Orange Box Store notes, in a Murray product description, in fact their compatibility:1) Murray brand is being phased out, replaced by equal Siemens parts2) Murray MP270P is equivalent to Siemens Q270PTesting this claim myself => Success! The Siemens Q110 circuit breaker fits perfectly in a Murray MP load center. Great alternative, highly recommended!

Easy replacement for breakers. I am using sonoff 10A WiFi switches in my home and they are 10A rated. For safety I preferred to also restrict the entire circuit to 10A anywhere I have these devices installed.

At my local stores 20 amps is the smallest in stock. I wanted a 10 amps for a dedicated circuit. Poof! Amazon delivers.

It is exactly as advertised. Fits my Square D 'Q' Homeline panel exactly (some breakers don't plug in due to the extra length on the power buss tine). Very good price.
