What more can you say than WOW ! ! ! These shocks are great man ! ! Took my lowered truck from a bouncing front end machine to a smooth riding truck that I am proud to drive again. Being easy to adjust the rebound/compression function as the shock travels through its range of motion allows you to really dial the ride in and also gives you the ability to change the ride setup at the track, if you tow something, go off-roading, etc. . .

This shock does not fit a 1968 Camaro/Firebird. Extensive modification is required on a stock car to use this shock. A factory shock diameter is about 1 5/8". This QA1 shock is about 1 15/16". Nearly 2". The mounting hole in the factory lower a-arm is about 1 3/4" diameter. No way in heck will this QA1 shock fit a factory stock lower a-arm.Extensive modification is required to use this shock. The factory a-arm hole will need to be enlarged. That a-arm is 1/4" thick steel. Have fun doing this without the correct tools; which many weekend mechanics won't have. Once the hole is enlarged the factory welded in captured nuts used to hold the shock in are gone. Now you have to fabricate new bolt mounts. If you are looking to buy this shock for a factory stock upgrade - DON'T. It won't work. Beyond this, I have no doubt this is a quality shock. I have them on the rear of my car. I'm going to have to find a different shock that works with a factory stock car.
