There are definitely better products on the market, but these were available cheap, and they get the job done. I use them mostly with my wood stove, which gets up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit during normal use. I will also use them to grab hot vessels from the oven. They work better than oven mitts, and they have fingers for more dexterity.The outer layer of leather will start to singe and smoke if left in heat for any prolonged amount of time. If you're using these for industrial purposes; especially welding, I expect you will need to replace them fairly regularly.

Die Handschuhe sind zwar eine Spur zu groß, aber für meine Zwecke, Ofen Holz nachlegen, sind sie griffig genug. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, das Leder ist sehr weich, innen hat man ein angenehmes Gefühl, keine Rauhen stellen. Würde diesen Handschuh wieder kaufen, kann ihn von meiner Sicht aus für meinen Zweck sehr empfehlen.

I use these gloves in my fire pit and wood stove. With them on, I can move/adjust burning logs without burning my hands. They are so easy to use and much more precise than fireplace tools. They fit well and are protective. They are thick, but not so thick that I can’t grip logs. I would highly recommend!

Très efficace, très confortable, très résistant. Vraiment parfait. Résiste bien au feu, aux flammes, aux braises. Utilisé pour ajouter - retirer bûchettes dans poele à bois. Les gants remontent sur les avant bars et protègent des brulures des flammes et des parois métalliques du oele.
