Bought to cut ceramic and porcelain tile dry on a mitre saw for a bathroom remodel. 500+ pieces and still going. Worked better than a borrowed wet tile saw; much faster and less chipping. At first I bought it just to try not expecting much, but it surprised me and I ended up using it for probably 90% or more of the cuts.

I have an old Dewalt blade that I replaced with this. I believe the Dewalt was a more diamond dense blade, but this one cut nicely and is a great value at 1/3 the price even if it doesn’t match the longevity of the Dewalt.

Used it to finish up a porcelain job and it cuts with minimal chipping. Blade actually seemed to cut better after it wore it a little. Killer price so I ordered two and I am glad I did.

Got this blade on sale, hoping it would work on agates, petrified wood, and Jasper. It cuts really well! No deflection and made quite a few cuts before I had to peen the blade. Also thin but not too thin. Would buy again.Update:I've cut so many agates, petrified wood, and Jasper with this blade, and it is starting to wear down now. I peen the blade after about 10 cuts and it cuts like new again. This product has succeeded my expectations and will be the one I use from now on.

The title of the listing is misleading. This blade is only designed for wet cutting.

I live where it is cold and was cutting outside in 35 f temp which helped. I was cutting quarry tile. Had to cut only 18 tile so I can't really vouch for curability as I didn't test the adhesion of the diamonds. The adhesion is mostly about not over pressing and over heating though.I got all the cuts done without chips. The cutting was slow: mild press for about 3 seconds, raised the blade to cool, repeat. When the cut was getting wide the blade heated up more so the cooling was longer. I watched the blade for wobble (did a few times) and that required cooling beyond the time the wobble ended.I even had to cut tile so it went around a corner; no chipping!Over all, it really didn't take much time to cut a tile. Saved a lot not having to rent a saw (or buy one). I also could lay tile at my own pace where as renting would have made me rush.

Description says it's for granite, so I bought it. On the blade label, it says it's only for softer stone and you need a better blade for harder material like granite. Maybe I'll try it anyway, but it's irritating that they aren't more clear about what it's for. I guess this is the cheapest diamond blade QEP makes, and it may work fine, they just want you to buy a more expensive one... I'll post back if I keep it, and try it out...Edit- Kept it, cuts pretty well even in thick granite. I'm trying to cut thick countertop material, which isn't what this blade or my HF tile saw are really for, but it does okay on straight cuts. Bevels, not so much, but I think that's the saw's fault, not the blade. For the price, give it a shot, should work fine on most stone.
